My favorite hotel!
I stay here every year at Christmas, and it was wonderful as always. The standard room is big with a leather sofa and has a comfy bed. The staff is always friendly and I get free homemade cookies daily. I did not eat at the restaurant this time, but it is great. I've also stayed in the summer, and the pool is great too.

We were last in Fremont in the 1980s when we took our children on a tour of Gerber Baby foods. We recently returned to visit our brother and on his recommendation we stayed here. I have never been so impressed with a motel—this is an Inn—on any stay in the USA! Our room with a King bed was spacious and the shower was a convenient walk-in which at age 77 I appreciated! The appointments (decor) were amazing! Pictures, color choices, layout all tied together to offer a pleasant feeling of comfort. There is a small dining area for lunch and dinner—breakfast is included in one’s stay—and an outdoor pool in season. There is no hot tub but guests are free to use the Tamarac, the nearby fitness center. I went there and was also wowed by the place! The hot tub was great and the workout area rivals any national chain. Finally, the staff. Friendly, helpful, and a delight with whom to engage in asking for any help or personal needs. You will not be disappointed in your stay at the Harrington Inn. But I do offer this: tours of the Gerber factory are no longer.😥 A fabulous gem in the most unexpected place.

I am extremely picky about hotel rooms. I am sensitive to smells and a germaphobe. Of course I brought my clorox wipes but our room was so clean I barely used them (only bc of ocd). The shower was the cleanest hotel shower I have ever been in as well. The air conditioning was fresh and crisp without any odor. I will be back again if I am in the area.
