Unfortunate, Not quite what it was advertised.
This is a great log cabin in a decent location. Within a short drive to town or local attractions. Near the highway and not far off the road but the landscape creates a private setting. Unfortunately the highway is in plain view from the back fo the house, but it is off in the distance. This is a Timber and log style home that is well maintained. Unfortunately, all that is advertised is not available. The Pond is hardly suitable for swimming. The weeds are so overgrown that swimming would be difficult other than a small area right by the dock. be wary when swimming as the weeds are so dense that a not so strong swimmer could get tangled in the weeds. The mat is so dense that fishing is next to impossible other than the 3" sunfish that swim in the shallows. There are no ATV or horseback riding trails on property just a big open back yard. Unfortunately, some of this false advertisement led my deposit to be withheld. vrbo even agreed that my full deposit should have been refunded. It is a month later and The property owner still hasn't refunded all of my deposit in full after being told to and my claim has been sent to vrbo's department that handles these matters. Please be wary of property management. Its quite unfortunate because this is a nice place. If you do choose to stay here I suggest taking pictures and documenting everything.
