Unhappy with owner
Less than 24 hours after we arrived, the hot water heater went out. The rental management company sent someone to evaluate, who determined a plumber needed to be called in. The plumber recommended a new hot water heater was needed and he was available to get the job done that day and the present one was reset and started working again briefly. The owner decided not to replace it and it went out again within 24 hours. We were then moved to another rental. When in communication with the rental management company representative, I told him we would not be returning to this rental because of the owner's response to a problem with the unit, even though we were offered a 15% discount on a future stay. I asked him, with the thousands of accommodation choices in the Destin area, why would we return to a rental where the owner treats his customers that way?
