The property is BEAUTIFUL. It is private but not isolated. The house is good for a small family and short visit. Not a place to make big meals indoors, but the fire-pit is SO spectacular. It has a cooking grate that spins into place for cooking hotdogs, burgers, and then effortlessly spins out of the way to have a large campfire. Be sure to ask for wood in advance. The picture shows a full stack of wood, but there was none when we arrived. The owner's son, who lives nearby provided a little... but a very nice neighbor brought a bunch over and we had fires every night!
HEADS up, two important pieces of advice. If you use Google or Apple maps, they will take you a slightly different location. Make sure to connect with the owner prior to getting there to get the directions. We could not find it and could not reach the owner for 2 hours after arriving. Also the property uses well water. If not used regularly it gives off a strong sulphur smell. We did not use any water the first night. The next day, the owner's daughter-in-law told us to run the hot water until it drains completely and it may take two runs. We did this and the smell was gone.
All in all, this property is located on the most beautiful and peaceful piece of property; we had a hard time leaving!
