Turned out to be perfect for an overnight stay. It was only 4 minutes walk from the train station and Izakayas. I had a wonderful view of the snow capped mountains in the morning.

This is a conveniently situated hotel with comfortable rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. I’ve stayed here before and find it an excellent base for train-based day trips around the region as well as for Matsumoto itself

The English level of staff are much better than other same tier hotel groups. There’s smell in the toilet and the staff immediately arranged a plumber to fix it when we were out. The parking is smooth but it’s first-come-first-served. 1000yen per night again the staff were nice. There are lots of restaurants and a plenty of shopping places in the area. Overall a good deal considering the price level.
