We have a bedroom for 2 persons. The double bed has two mattreses (each one =90/1.40 cm)
The very small bedroom is on a mezzanine above the kitchen/livingroom. The small mezzanine is not recommended for children. The stairs are to dangerous to reach the mezzanine. Bedlinen and towels are not included
Only during the high season = JULY / AUGUST=, WE RENT THE HOUSE FROM SATERDAY TO THE NEXT SATERDAY.

Extremely warm welcome. Great location.
When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after.

Fantastisch
Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad op Le Grèze. De eigenaars zijn hartelijk en benaderbaar. Fijn ook dat je er goed met Nederlands en Duits terecht kunt. Veel privacy verder. Het huisje is heel mooi en warm ingericht. We troffen het schoon en opgeruimd aan, compleet voorzien van alle basisbenodigdheden. Buiten op het terrasje hebben we altijd een schaduwplekje gevonden. Heerlijk onder de Vijgenboom of Blauwe Regen. Wij kwamen er echt tot rust.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage .
Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Ferienhaus ist großzügig und toll hergerichtet. Die Lage ist ideal um Les Eyzies oder Sarlat und Umgebung zu besuchen. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, da die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etliche km entfernt sind. Mieke und Bernd waren sehr angenehme Gastgeber, man kann sie immer ansprechen für Tipps zum Wandern und für Ausflüge. Sie halten aber auch eine angenehme Distanz. Mit dem Wetter hatten wir etwas Pech, aber das kann man sich nicht aussuchen. Wenn man bei kühleren Tagen da ist, kann man die Fussbodenheizung im Wohnbereich dazu buchen.

Idyllisch gelegenes Kleinod im Périgord Noir
Das Ferienhaus mit seinem individuellen Raumangebot (ideal für 2-3 Personen), der sehr geschmackvollen Einrichtung und dem lauschigen Außenbereich unter dem Feigenbaum ist zum Verlieben schön. Mit den Vermietern Mike und Bernd fanden wir schnell einen angenehmen Austausch, der uns Freude gemacht hat. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Wunderbare Zeit im Perigord
Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dieser einfach herrlichen Gegend. Es gibt sehr viel zu entdecken, Märkte, Höhlen, sehr schöne Orte, unberührte Natur...! Das Haus von Mieke und Bernd ist einfach wunderbar! Die beiden haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns gute Tips für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!

Dépaysement total à Marquay
Un merveilleux séjour dans un superbe lieu. L'emplacement sauvage de la maison est reposant, un havre pour le mental, et de plus une stratégie pour organiser des déplacements Incontournables (Lascaux, visites de sites troglodytes, villages, lacs...). Le Périgord est une mine incontournable de sites tous plus épatants les uns que les autres. Bref, une experience inoubliable, dans un cadre sublime et foisonnant !

Viel Ruhe, viel Herz, viel Natur - viel Urlaub!
Wir waren zwei Wochen die Gäste von Mieke und Bernd mitten im Perigord Noir und haben jeden Tag auf ganz neue Weise genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend, offen und fanden immer das richtige Maß an Nähe und Distanz. Wir fühlten uns willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Wir kennen die Steincottages in Irland und waren ganz entzückt, wie ähnlich und doch ganz anders dieses Haus uns empfangen hat. Alles ist sehr behutsam restauriert und bietet gleichzeitig alles was das Urlauberherz begehrt. Die Lage am Ende der Straße und mitten in der Natur ist für einen Stadtmenschen schon ziemlich aufregend und wunderschön. Alleine der morgendliche Gang in den Hof, um frische Feigen für das Frühstück zu ernten, garantiert Entspannung pur. Ohne weit zu fahren, haben wir jeden Tag Ausflüge gemacht, sind gewandert, gepaddelt, haben Städte und Museen besucht, waren in Höhlen oder haben einfach nur in einem Bistro gesessen und uns von der Gegend verzaubern lassen. Vielen Dank, Ihr Lieben, für die schöne Zeit!

Traumhafter Urlaub
Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub bei Mieke und Bernd . Es war herrlich , das Haus so wie wir uns vorgestellt haben : sehr ruhig, abgelegen inmitten der Natur und doch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen , Im Haus war alles vorhanden , in der Küche alles was man zum selbstversorgen braucht , alles war perfekt. Lieu magnifique et très calme , très bien située au centre du triangle d'or du Périgord noir. La maison est très agréable et reste fraiche en cas de forte chaleur. Les hôtes sont très sympa et disponibles pour parler de la région et recommander des visites.

Emplacement idéal
Très belle maison dont l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le Périgord noir. Cependant dans l'annonce il y faisait mention de 2 chambres mais en fait la 2ème chambre est en mezzanine donnant sur le salon. De plus dans l'annonce il n'y a pas de mention de frais de chauffage de ménage et une caution. Tout est écrit dans le contrat que l'on reçoit une fois que l'on a payé c'est dommage que l'annonce manque de précision. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute et disponibles.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus zum Genießen und/oder Eintauchen in die Geschichte
Das Ferienhaus in la Grèze/Marquay ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen, es ist wunderbar und geschmackvoll restauriert. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Der kleine sonnige Innenhof wird von einem Feigenbaum beschattet, von dem man sogar reife Früchte ernten kann. Trotz der vielen Umgebung mit traumhaftem Sternenhimmel in der Nacht ist man nicht weit entfernt von prähistorischen Höhlen und Fundstätten, wunderbaren Burgen und vielen schönen Dörfern, von denen fast jedes eine romanische Kirche und/oder ein Schloss hat. Sogar ein Badesee, den wir mehrere Male genutzt haben, ist nur eine kurze Wegstrecke mit dem Auto entfernt. Mieke und Bernd sind herzliche, offene und hilfreiche Gastgeber, die mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen, wenn man etwas braucht, oder nicht weiß, welche der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten man zuerst besuchen soll.... Wir waren im Ferienhaus zu zweit, aber sogar zwei Paare könnten unterkommen, ohne sich auf die Füße zu treten, weil die Schlafräume deutlich getrennt sind. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt, und gleichzeitig viel erlebt. Auch die Gespräche mit Mieke und Bernd haben wir sehr genossen!

Ein idealer Urlaubsort
Ein wunderschön restauriertes Objekt erwartete uns und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Atmosphäre im uralten aus Steinen der Umgebung gebauten Haus ist wunderschön. Ein entzückender Innenhof, in dem man sich sowohl sonnen als auch Schatten unter einem riesigen Feigenbaum finden kann, ist genau das, was man sich für einen Urlaub wünscht und die ruhige Lage sowie ein sehr schöner Blick über die umgebende Landschaft tragen sehr zum Wohlbefinden bei. Die Gastgeber Mieke und Bernd sind reizende und hilfsbereite Menschen. Im hübschen Ort Les Eyzies, der direkt am Fluss Vézère liegt, findet man einen Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants. Die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung sind in relativ kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Wir haben hier herrliche und erholsame Tage verlebt!

Superbe, authentique, au coeur de la nature et de l'Histoire
Lieu plein de sérénité, rénové dans le respect du patrimoine local de qualité, entouré de forêts et de clairières dans une belle vallée où coule la rivière Vézère, colonne vertébrale des lieux de vie préhistoriques du Périgord Noir. Merci à Mieke et Bernd pour leur hospitalité, pour le soin et le coeur qu'ils ont porté à notre accueil, le partage de leurs connaissances tant culturelles que naturalistes et humaines sur ces lieux. Un lieu charmant et central.
Très beau gîte à la décoration soignée, très agréable à vivre, dans un écrin de verdure calme et reposant, à proximité de nombreux sites remarquables ; Commarques, l'abri du Cap Blanc pour les plus proches... Herz des Périgord
Wer wagt, sich auf das Périgord einzulassen, liegt mit La Grèze, Mieke und Bernd goldrichtig. Mit ersten Erfahrungen in der Region haben wir uns endgültig in das Stück Land verliebt. Das Haus ist Périgord, original und unglaublich schön restauriert und gepflegt. Sehr stimmige Einrichtung und Ausstattung - es fehlt an nichts - schlicht großartig und "pittoresque". Von der absoluten Ruhe gelangt man einfach und schnell überall hin, was das Périgord Noir zu bieten hat. Mieke und Bernd strahlen die Liebe zur Region aus und sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich auf ihre angenehm zurückhaltende Art- entspannt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
