"My wife and I have stayed here before and we love this place. The host are very efficient thorough and open and their property is amazing. We will continue as long as we live in the DMV area to visit their place at least once a year if you need peace and quiet to get away from the hustle and bustle of the DC Metropolitan area, this is a place for you thank you very much"

"We have stayed at several places in Lost River and this is by far the best. Location is close to all the activities in Lost River. The comfortable furnishings look quite new, not at all like the old stuff found in other places. Our poodle, Neha enjoyed the large fenced yard immensely. As a food lover, I loved the well equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The heated bathroom floor was wonderful as the temperatures fell overnight. We did not take advantage of the grill and outdoor patio but the two porches were a great place to sit, relax and enjoy nature. We really felt like we were in a nice comfortable home."

"My 26 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the High View Hideaway.  Although it dropped to 17 degrees during our visit, we were always comfortable.  The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our trip.  The cabin is a bit off the trail, but we knew that going in and we were easily able to find some nice local trails to explore.  The Big Schloss trail was our favorite.  Since we both work remotely, I should also mention that the WIFI worked just fine.  Thanks Cynthia and Jonathan for a great stay!"

"We (a group of friends and one tiny dog) spent a lovely and snowy weekend in Bob and Tammy's cozy cabin. Anything we needed--extra blankets, coffee filters, a colander--was there, and Bob even stopped by to give us some advice about navigating the property through the snow. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more comfortable cabin. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! 10/10"
