The people were extremely kind. The room was comfy and clean but the bathroom tub was damaged and floor were not clean. I think it was stained beyond repair. The linens were clean. The place wreaked of a strong food smell. The room was odor free.

This property needs some work. It smells horrible in the hallways, and they dont run the AC outside of the rooms. The man working the desk forgot to give me back my id and didn’t have it when I needed it later that night because of him. Everything has "out of order" signs on it, which tells me that they neglect maintenance on the property.

We won't return

The building itself is in fairly good condition and was very quiet. However, it is poorly maintained: the elevator got stuck with a person inside, and the doors wouldn't open. He finally was able to prise them open with his hands, but we chose not to use the elevator and had to carry baggage up and down stairs. Several lights in the bedroom didn't work, and the finish on the bathtub was terrible. The top of the table was not attached to the base, so we had to use it very carefully so that it wouldn't fall off. The staff was not particularly helpful. Although continental breakfast was supposed to be included, there was nothing to eat our first night:only lukewarm coffee. After we complained, there were muffins and juice the next day.

I had cockroaches in my room, and they did not want to give me a refund because “cockroaches are super common in Texas and in every hotel”. this seems not only unreasonable, but not good business. The lobby and rooms smell really musty, and there was a bunch of boxsprings laying around that look like they had evidence of bedbugs.

The bathtub had cracked/ crumbled pieces of the surface of the tub missing and in the tub. Maybe they could use some replacements. I wished they had a walk in Shower as Im 68 and its hard for me to get in and out of the tub its too high for me. They need maybe some ♿️ rooms with Walk in Showers Overall everything else was good.
