Weekend Getaway
We get a weekend cabin usually a couple times a year, and this has been hands down our favorite. The cabin is great and the location is even better. Secluded and beautiful view of the mountains. Sitting on the deck and taking it all in was the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Getaway
Beautiful cabin, beautiful views. Cabin exactly as described. It is an absolute necessity to have a 4 wheel drive to make it up the mountain to the cabin. We had 2 days of bad weather but was nice to stay in by the gas logs and just chill. During a period of no rain we were able to get out and hike around the area. Would definitely stay at the Unbelievable cabin again!

Unbelievable is Right
Awesome location and stay! Beautiful sunsets and Unbelievable views. At the top of the mountain all by yourself. Super clean and well kept. Plenty of excellent cooking equipment: super well stocked. Wish we could stay here forever! We even extended our stay a few days since it was available. I had to work, unfortunately, a couple of days, but the wifi was fine (and what an awesome location for an office!) Four wheel drive definitely suggested: we have a truck and we were able to get up in 2 wheel drive (just to see if we could) but most of the time we kept it in 4 wheel drive for the last 1/4 mile. Only small glitch: the checkin directions told us to look for a lockbox but there isn’t one. It’s a numeric code to enter. We were able to call and they returned our call within 20 minutes.

AMAZING Views, COZY Cabin, 4WD Required!
My wife and I spent 5 days/4 nights at the aptly named cabin, UNBELIEVABLE. Reviews of this location are correct…4WD is virtually required to reach the top, but once you’re there, you’re almost in the clouds, near the ridge top of the mountain, completely surrounded by tranquility and nature, with no one else around you! We loved the views from the deck while enjoying the hot tub at sunrise or especially at sunset. This cabin is well stocked with everything we needed. Comfy throw blankets and pillows and amazing views from the inside as well! Communication with the management team was smooth and we felt cared for both before and after our stay. We’d come again if we’re ever in the area and we would totally recommend this place to anyone interested.

Unbelievable was exactly as described including the drive up to it. Once there, the fall colors and the long range views were amazing. If you like peace and tranquility with zero outside noise, this is place for you!!

"Unbelievable" is an accurate name
We were looking for an escape from the FL heat and found it! The views were magnificent and the cabin was comfortable, nicely decorated and well stocked. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would highly recommend it!

Breathtaking
My fiancé and I spent a week at the cabin, and it was some much needed downtime. The cabin was exactly as described and the views from the cabin a beautiful. You will definitely need four wheel drive to get to the cabin. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with gorgeous views then this is definitely the place.

My wife and I spent a long weekend away from the kids at the cabin. Obviously the view was amazing but we also enjoyed the birds and wildlife. Pretty cool record collection as well. I don’t think we turned the tv on once. Left relaxed and fulfilled. Great stay!

Amazing Property
This house is nothing short of Unbelievable. It lives up to its name. The check in instructions and directions given by Property Management was so accurate. We never had any problems accessing the front door. In fact, every time I called the Property Management prior to the trip, they were very communicative. So helpful to someone like me who had a million questions. I would reiterate the need for a 4 wheel drive, it is needed once you get past the main road as you ascend the mountain. There were many towels, extra blankets, pillows, all the pots, kitchen gadgets and dishes you need. The gas fireplace is so amazing. Robin with the property Management was GREAT, I reached out to her for a small issue and was resolved swiftly and I just cannot say enough great things about her. Lots of land to walk and discover right out the front door. On our way home, we were already talking when to book this property again.

Amazing Views, Cozy Cabin, Terrible CheckIn
The property itself is fantastic. If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-path getaway to relax and unwind away from noise and people, THIS IS IT. The cabin is adorable and comfortable and the views are absolutely beautiful. As the other reviews say, you will not get to the cabin if you don't have 4-wheel drive. I will be honest, I didn't believe this at first. But there is no question, just don't even try. The one and only issue we had was the check-in process. Supposedly you download an app that connects to the house lock via bluetooth with you arrive and you're in. Sounds too good to be true because...it is. We arrived late at night, as we drive in from 3-4 hours away after work on a Thursday. It was freezing, we could not get in the house, we had "spotty" at best cell and internet service. We called all numbers available for the property owners and managers and could get through to no one. We finally had to call the general VRBO help/customer service line and they also could not get through to the property owners the first two times. We sat in the VERY cold and dark for ~40 mins while they told us they were trying to find us ANOTHER PLACE to stay the night. (They actually had the nerve to ask if we could just go to a hotel....). They did finally end up getting in touch with the property owner around midnight and we discovered there was a combination lock box beside us with keys in it the whole time (this was never given to us as an option for check-in). Once inside the house the rest of the trip was picture-perfect. I would definitely stay here again, just make sure to have a secondary, more reliable, check-in option.

Beautiful view in a very quiet location. Comfortable and cozy cabin, just as shown on VRBO. Not crazy about the August app, mabye just because I've never used before. Suggestions: Discard sheets on main floor bed (very thin and pilly). Ensure that dishwasher detergent is stocked (there was none). Consider stocking paper towels. Thank you!

Excellent cabin with amazing view!
Absolutely amazing view from this cabin, which is what we were looking for, for our weekend away. The cabin was beautiful, nice and clean. Thankfully, it had puzzles and board games as well- because the weather was rainy most of the time we were there. Still nothing short of amazing on view! I’ll reiterate, to ensure you have 4WD if you rent this cabin. We did, but can see how it would be almost impossible for someone who didn’t. Communication with folks who rent out the cabin was okay. I asked a few questions in preparation to come and those were never directly answered (about the type of coffee maker that’s there, about if it would be possible for us to get early check in because we were driving a long way). The important things like specific directions and info to get in were sent, so it was fine.

Great place - horrible management
Beautiful spot in nice little neighborhood. Do need all wheel or 4 wheel drive (otherwise will damage road). Has electronic lock that you should confirm with management before coming. And here is the problem. They do not respond. EVER. EVEN ON THEIR CELLPHONES!!! Terrible So get all that info before you go and you eill be good. Stove is marginal but can make do. No regular tv but that’s ok. Cellphone 1 bar. Great views!!

Breathtaking views
The place was gorgeous, my only complaint is: the sheets were dirty. There were no other king size sheets in the place. Whatever had spilled on the sheets had also seeped into mattress cover. Property manage said they could be there in an hour, then it was next day, then end of second day, finally on our third day just after lunch the property manager arrived with clean sheets.

Best cabin!
What an incredible cabin. We had an amazing time. This was truly unbelievable. The cabin was fully equipped, the view and the location was just perfect. The keyless entry was very easy to use. I highly recommend this property.

The road to the house is rugged and steep, 4 wheel drive is suggested, not a good fit for motorcycles. The house is perfect and comfortable. The view is spectacular and loved our stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating that is over all one of my favorite trips to the smokies. Get your directions to the house before losing phone service, or you will struggle to locate the property.

Excellent secluded "top of the world" get-a-way property. Very comfortable for family or 2 couples. Everything you need to just sit back, relax, and escape 21st Century pressure (save for the excellent wi-fi if you must engage). Don't be afraid of last 0.6 of a mile access road. If you've got a 4-wheel drive, no problem to get up there. And the more you drive it, the easier it gets. PS If you're not Internet savy, make sure you discuss how to get into locked house before hand. Also, Google Maps directions for last turn up mountain is incorrect. It is NOT Memory Lane. You need to take left turn off of Camptown Drive onto Red Bird Drive which is about 1,000 feet BEFORE Memory Lane. Other than that, it's heaven up there.

Not exactly perfect on cleanliness and google maps will take you to the wrong place. It is difficult to find and pretty difficult to get up the drive. Overall though the view was amazing and the rustic decor in the cabin was quite tasteful. Do not book this cabin unless your vehicle has 4WD

Stunning views
The views from this home are incredible. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. Tip # 1 - we got the wrong WiFi info from the rental agency but, the homeowners have the info on a board above the slider door left of the fireplace. Tip # 2 - you need 4WD. We have a 2WD Highlander and had to rent an SUV w/4WD from a local rental place to make it up the hill. It was worth it!
