Beautiful Hill county escape
Beautiful Hill county escape close to downtown and short drive to vineyards. House is beautiful and well stocked. Loved the back deck, jacuzzi, and fire pit (huge hit!). Indoor fireplace made the place so cozy. Hosts very responsive. Free range deer abound. Will definitely repeat visit to property. .

Family memories
We decided to take our granddaughters to see a new parade. We heard Fredericksburg had a great parade and market days. We asked our adult children and their spouses to join us. We all had a wonderful time sitting by the fire watching Christmas movies, and listening to Christmas music. We got to see deer 2x a day in the backyard amazing for our older granddaughter. Just created more family memories that we value and treasure. We look forward to continuing this new tradition with our family. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

Excellent base for Hill Country vacation
We loved our stay. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the kitchen hardware we needed. I liked that it was on several acres so it had some privacy and it had a small pool behind a dam in the little stream. It had a deer feeder and all of us enjoyed watching the deer come to feed in the morning and evening. The house was only a couple of miles north of Fredericksburg so in a few minutes we could be on the main drag. Great place to stay.

Couples get away.
Great location, peaceful atmosphere deer watching in back yard 2 Master Suites. Relaxing out back by the fire pit. Can hear traffic from a road close by, but not annoying. Can be challenging for elders , lot of steps, and beds are tall. Overall great getaway.

Anniversary visit
We had four adults stay three nights in June and our visit was FANTASTIC. The house is located 8 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg and a short drive from all of the shopping and dining you could ask for. The home itself was great. Beds are comfortable, everything you need for meal prep, and we saw several deer and a Turkey. Only negatives were 1) the home is located in close proximity to the highway and the road was a bit noisy when sitting outside on the back porch. 2) the only other item was the hot tub by the third night had a bit of a odor to the water. Nothing that prevented us from enjoying it but something to be aware of for the owner. All in all, it was a fantastic house, and we will definitely plan a second trip next year with our friends and family again.

Great Getaway
The house was beautiful and immaculate. We were two semi retired couples and enjoyed having the two master suites. We also really enjoyed a glass of wine around the fire pit each night. The house was nicely equipped with kitchen ware. Courtney was very helpful and quickly responded to my inquiries. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous home!

My interactions with both host was always gracious. The home itself was very beautiful and comfortable. I do want to caution future guests that if they have mobility issues this is not a place that I would recommend. There are lots of steps at both the back and front entrance. Also the beds were quiet high but super comfortable.

Such a relaxing and beautiful home
Hubby and I went for a 3 night stay. Was very relaxing . Enjoyed every minute seeing all the deer walk up. So close to Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg. Definitely we will be back!

This property is absolutely beautiful! The house is conveniently located just North of town and sits in a small valley that provides excellent views. Everything inside worked perfectly and the entire house was very clean. Courtney was very accessible and answered all of our pre-trip questions immediately. We highly recommend this property!

We had a great time at Beaver Lodge. A well-equipped house with a very nice kitchen, outdoor seating and firepit. We especially enjoyed the deer and turkeys feeding.

Enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and dual master suites! Could not get fireplce to work based on intructions provided, though. Some road noise while outside from two-lane highway. Overall, a very nice stay!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
