Winter Break
We received a warm welcome on a cold winter's day and throughout our stay Wayne and his staff were attentive and ever-pleasant. The real ale and outstanding cooking were real features and breakfast and dinner each night were much enjoyed.

Lovely pub in a great location family room was a good size and very clean and tidy check in could have been better just stood in the middle of a pub waiting for a flustered staff member wasn't great.

Disappointing stay - shouldn't be like that
We stayed in room 3 - the kitchen extractor fans are directly outside the bedroom window - obviously it was noisy - no chance of enjoying the room during the day. The bedroom was basic and tired, it was totally overpriced. The bar manager totally uninterested that the room was substandard. The duty manager unobtainable - I don't mind paying for good service and good quality but this stay failed on both counts.

We love this place only ever eaten there so first time we’ve stayed , we chose a suite - room 1 was allocated- room down by the service entry . Initially not a problem, room lovely and clean spacious however little air circulation as you cannot open windows apart from one by 2inches and no fan in room so extremely stuffy in the hot weather - that was disappointing. Plenty room in the room for the dog with us as well . Both mornings woken 0630 crashing about outside our windows and by the service room , deliveries of barrels and things obviously needed for the day but please don’t book this room if you would like a relaxing quiet lie in - not well rested sadly as room is also noisy til late at night which we’d expect being in a pub . Staff Very friendly and helpful, food as usual excellent. A shame but we wouldn’t stay again unless we had to due the noise and lack of airflow in that room . Perhaps Room 2 suite upstairs is better or a standard double. Maybe request they have fans in the rooms as well .

Fabulous little pub/hotel with great beer garden
We had a super stay, we had 2 family rooms for 2 families. Lovely comfortable beds and great single sofa beds for the children. The best breakfast we’ve ever had with superb service from Edita. Very relaxed and we were made very welcome, nothing was too much problem.

Beautiful village, great beach and hotel
Perfect stop over for one night - stayed in the suite - we are 2 adults with our visiting parents. The room was roomy enough for us to be comfortable, we had everything we needed. Room had one double bed and 2 single sleepers. Was perfect for 1 night. would definitely recommend as a suite if you are a family

Amazing staff/service, perhaps a little tired
Amazing staff. Good pub food, really lovely breakfast. Room was large, adequate but a little tired Difficulty climbing out of bath after shower - a handle somewhere would be useful. Plenty of room to install a small bar fridge Would stay again, great little village central to beautiful walks and attractions

Warm welcome
The room was warm, clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious with a good choice of options. During our three night stay we received outstanding service from a well organised, diligent and friendly team. The whole experience was a delight and excellent value for money.

Dog holiday in Beadnell
Little break away in a great location. Lovely beaches for the dog to run on. Great area for long walks then back to the hotel for lovely food. The lady who serves breakfast went out of her way to make us comfortable and couldn’t do enough for us.
