Relaxing Stay
My husband and I stayed 5 days at Casa Verde. We had a very relaxing time there. The town is very small and everything is in walking distance. However, if you get a lot at the bigger grocery store, you might want to ask for them to deliver it for you. The beach is very close by. We bought two beach chairs to use while we were there and left them for others to use since there weren’t any.
A few things to know: First, this house is very basic, just the essentials, no extras. Next, the only AC is in the upstairs bedroom and it can get quite hot in the house. There is a nice outside covered area in front, but know that the neighbors are very close by and you will be able to hear them outside. You will also be visited by sweet kitties out there and might see hummingbirds, howler monkeys, toucans, and agouti. Bring along activities you can do in the evening if you’re not into the nightlife. The downstairs bedroom can get hot and the bed is quite hard. Also, no toilet paper can be flushed at the house or anywhere in town. Just want people to be aware of that.
Annie was great! We only needed to contact her twice for things and she was very prompt getting back to us and solving our issues.
Overall, we had a great trip and really saw a lot of wonderful animals, ate delicious food, and met delightful people!
