The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The inn was walkable distance to anything needed in St Mary’s including the ferry and a coffee shop. Would recommend!

We were warmly greeted and all staff were kind, gracious, and very service-focused. The rooms are great. Bed was a little too soft for me, and I would have liked to have an extra blanket. We had dinner here and it was fantastic! Everything homemade. The wine, although limited selection, was good quality. Everyone in our party was happy!

Will not stay there again.

Local bar a block away played loud music until 10:15pm on Friday night. Then bar patrons proceeded to have a loud discussion in the street at 2:00am for about 45-mins. When we asked to move to a room on the back of the building away from the noise, we were told that the inn was full and there wasn't another room available. When we pointed out that the room across the hall was empty, receptionist said that we were assigned the room we were in when we made the reservation and couldn't move. So we listened to the bar again on Saturday night.

Suffering from recent storm and water damage which we weren't informed about until checking in. Large fans and dehumidifiers running in every hallway and water drain lines taped to the floors. Sections of the hotel are divided off with plastic sheeting. Not an issue - if we'd been told in advance. We weren't.

Not far off the path

This was our second stay at Spencer House. The hotel is very eclectic but clean and comfortable. Definitely the feel of a Bed and Breakfast. We like staying in St. Mary’s in our travels because it is not far off Rte 95. Lisa did a great job with our breakfast. Penny and the rest of staff pleasant and helpful.

This very lovely B&B was conveniently located and very clean. The staff, especially Penny, were wonderful! The room rate was ok since there are very few options. The breakfast was good but not exceptional. Lemonade and cookies a nice touch. The elevator was a fantastic surprise since we were on the 3rd floor. There is ample free parking. I’d call directly next time to choose room. O
