We had a nice stay at Martin’s. For the price we paid it was perfectly adequate. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We booked the “comfort” room but were upgraded to a “charming”. There are no tea / coffee facilities in the room which wasn’t ideal, but there was a Starbucks counter in the reception area. The hotel is very central to everything, so the location for us was perfect. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed everyday. For £370 for 4 nights, there is little to complain about.

Conveniently located right in the city center. Close to shops, restaurants, and the Christmas Markets. Staff was very friendly! I wouldn't get a room that faced the street though. Can get a little loud at night or early morning with people stumbling out of bars. Other than that, loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Bad layout
The hotel is nice, but the layout is not, we were on the “ground”floor but we had to go up and down stairs and then a lift to get to the floor which was -2. The room was quite small which was ok as you only sleep there, but there was not hooks for coats only an open wardrobe which didn’t allow for long garment and not a lot of space for other items. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.

Great inexpensive place to stay when in Bruges. Well located, directly next to the main square with all the sites, bars and restaurants of Bruges within easy walking distance. We stayed in a “charming” room with shower. Decor was basic, but bedding and bathroom were more than adequate. Good check in staff. A decent bar that stayed open late. Starbucks coffee and a selection of drinks, snacks and toiletries could be bought in reception using an honesty based electronic scanner. This was such a nice idea. Can definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay on a limited budget.

Good location of a big size outdated hotel. Even hot water for tea is extra cost (2,5€). Noisy AC. Cannot leave AC on at night. Light would only switch off when you take out room card, which switches off AC. Was cold at night. Clean room. Shabby furniture and common areas.
