Cramped bathroom

The room we have had the tiniest bathroom i had very seen. Very uncomfortable to maneuver in the shower. Their remodelling of the room didn't consider the use of bathroom at all. As soon as we see the bathroom, we decided to checkout earlier. The manager was very accommodating. Refunded us the second night charge. The hotel is super clean and friendly. Unfortunately, the bathroom is designed terribly, don't know how guests could use it comfortably.

We had a fun time! It was the off season, so the restaurant was under renovation and most things were closed. Lovely room, nice staff, great facility!

This hotel is in the perfect location to experience Bar Harbor. It is an older hotel so the rooms are very small and the bathrooms are like closets. They offered a breakfast service, but it wasn't really a restaurant setting. Staff was superb! And, again, the location can't be beat!

Very clean, EXCEPT for a soiled towel that was on the towel rack when we arrived (caked with what appeared to be fresh lipstick). Safe, Except that the lock on the front door was hard to lock from the inside and there was no bolt or chain as a backup, which left us unsure if our door was secure. The bathroom door did not stay closed, repeatedly opening while taking care of business. Wires hung down from behind the TV. This minor issue could have been fixed in seconds by cleaning staff, but was not. The shade on the front door didn't provide adequate privacy (a somewhat minor point). Topping it off, the parking area and driveway had not been plowed after receiving about 10 inches of snow several days before our visit, making parking and getting in and out of our vehicle a bit challenging. This issue remained unchanged during our two night stay. A couple kids with shovels could have fixed this in an hour or two. The private entrance was very nice and the room itself was nice overall. It was very convenient. Unfortunately, some things here were being neglected.

We stayed at the Acadia Downtown for 5 nights at the end of November. The property was quiet and warm but very well located. We would walk to anything we wanted in town. Very close to the entrance of Acadia National Park. Would return again

Clean modern rooms and super nice staff

Lilly at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The Hotel was located in town and a short walk to everywhere. The room was clean and spacious.

Great location near shopping and running options. Park your car and walk downtown Bar Harbor right from your room! Too bad you can hear noise from the upstairs room.

The Acadia Hotel was everything we wanted it ti be. It was very clean, with super helpful staff. We went during the off season, so not all of the restaurants were open and the hotel staff helped up find ones that were. Very friendly folks!

The staff was very helpful and courteous with check-in and check-out. Coffee available 24/7 was most appreciated. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia NP and for walking the downtown area for dining and shopping. Everything was perfect!

Exceeded expectations!

What a delightful boutique hotel! Our 3 night stay was excellent in every way. We were within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants on Main Street and a short drive to Acadia. The owner and staff provide so many amenities- beverages, games, books, bikes, hiking trail maps, ice machine, hot tubs, small relaxing areas, and great recommendations for your stay. The omelette station was a great option for breakfast. Highly recommend.
