My stay at The Canoe hotel was absolutely exceptional from the moment we stepped through the door. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, anticipating my needs before we even had to ask. The mountain view room made every mornings even more special. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city for free with a bus ticket provided by the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a excellent experience with outstanding service. Special mention to Dan who find a last minute shuttle to the airport, he was really committed to help even on my last hour at the hotel, I was truly impressed and satisfied.

All of the fine finishing to create a beautiful space. The large balconies and mountain views and rooms with a fireplace. High end tea and coffee with real cream and nice mugs to sip from. Fantastic outdoor hot pools. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We loved this property for our girls trip! The sauna and pool deck was AMAZING with the mountain view. The products the hotel provides are from local businesses which was a sweet touch. Highly recommend this hotel!

Best time at Hotel Canoe
Great stay at the canoe hotel and suites, great location. First stop and drop off on the ski shuttles. Great modern hotel, food was amazing. Only points I would say is that there wasn't enough wardrobe space. A family for 4 struggling to find areas for clothes. Also the ski lockers could be in a more convenient space. But apart from that we had a great stay! and would recommend.

I am going to have to change the way I rate places after this place! It is so nice and comfortable. The room was nice and big with all new interior with a nice clean new bathroom. All hardwoods and stone, seems like they spared no expense to make it nice. The view is outstanding looking right out the room to three mountain peaks. The hot tub area was pretty magical. With a nice pagoda and fire to sit around. The first hot tub ha a waterfall and the upper pool is large with a big boulder island in the middle for a table and bench. Next time I come to Banff I will stay here the whole time!!

Brilliant front of desk staff. Good restaurant but we had a few issues with some orders. Amazing pool. Condos are great but needs a different heating system from the noisy fan heater. However well worth the money and the customer service is beyond exceptional if you raise any issues

This hotel is incredible! The staff are amazing and the rooms are lovely. I don’t t think I have ever slept on a more comfortable pillows. The price is well worth the experience. Even though it can be confusing to navigate initially it is such a wonderful place. We will definitely return.

Beautiful, new hotel. Staff greet everyone and provide bags of tea for the morning. Spa like interior with hot tubs that are outdoors and lit up at night. What an amazing way to experience Banff! We will definitely stay here again!

We liked the property for its availability but were quite dissatisfied with the amenities. Basically there are hot pools, which were then shared with neighbouring hotel as theirs were not functioning. Our room was great but the ventilation horribly loud and poorly managed. There is no other place to relax in the hotel except the very small lobby where the front door would expose us to cold winds coming in and the cheminey in that area was also broken. The hotel staff was ok, but when asked about 'what are things to do on a Friday night' the answer was look online. The coffee situation in room was a bit of a fiasco for us, and the staff at the restaurant while pleasant, didnt have much training in the dining world. I ordered multi-grain toast and was served sourdough. When I pointed this out to our very friendly server, she said, 'Oups' and just grabbed the toast off my plate directly instead of taking the plate away and properly exchanging in the kitchen. There are other items that we could report but overall we felt like this was a very expensive new hotel with substandard services.
