Best time to Visit

It's definitely possible to have too much of a good thing, and that applies to sunshine too, with Asheville's hottest months (June through August) being a little too hot for most. Visit between March and May or between September and early November instead for temperatures that won't get in the way of enjoying this great place. Bonus: the city is way less crowded at these times of year, too, so you're likely to find room rates more affordable.
