Exceptionally clean, large indoor pool with vaulted ceiling, great hot breakfast and they wiped tables down once you got up, wonderful shower and products, larger fridge microwave and coffee maker. Sheets and blankets were fine but not the quality of the other motels on this trip. They were clean the room was dated but good price for one night. Quick check in friendly night time receptionist. Would recommend.

Sadly, the quality of the hotel has gone downhill. I've stayed here many times over the years, but it's different now. Staff is pleasant, but the hotel needs remodeling and rejuvenating. The carpet in our room felt dirty, the tub felt "squishy" while standing during a shower, the pillows were hard. They have recently painted the walls, but that's all. And even with that, the cozy lodge look is gone and has been replaced with generic decorating. And the exterior walls are now different colors. Not sure if that's because they are still in process or if it's intentional. I didn't see anyone working out there, so..... anyway, I was not impressed on this visit at all.

I loved how the receptionist immediately saw that I was riding a motorcycle and invited me to park under the canopy to avoid getting rained on.

My stay was really nice, my friend and I took a day trip to Austin and spent the night. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the hot tub. I'd definitely visit again.

Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Would like to see them use refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash rather than the little disposable ones though. Would recommend this hotel.

Budget hotel problems
There are no elevators so all luggage had to be carried upstairs. The shower curtain was tucked in the handle on the shower and still wet when we got there, which made it look dirty. The tub bottom is either stained or dirty. The freezer leaked into the top shelf of the fridge. The bed was hard/firm. For the price it was acceptable.

Just OK
The hotel itself was nice and spacious but it did have small problems. First, there is no elevator, but it has two stories. Secondly, the floor in our room was NOT vaccuumed. There was even a wet / sticky spot on the carpet.
