We enjoyed a quiet stay a Villa Vanilla. Our host kindly did all our laundry and accommodated an early departure. We were able to walk the neighborhood easily finding good food and beach access. It is a ways from old town was the only down side.

A beautiful place and Vesna is a wonderful host. The pool was amazing and the apartment had everything we needed. The beach is a 20 mins walk or a couple minute drive (There is parking). Highly recommend, will definitely come back.

20 minute walk to sea front and a 10 minute walk to supermarket. Charming and helpful hostess and spotlessly clean! Very comfortable bed but Room a little dated. However will definitely stay again.

Great villa even better host!
The host was very nice and accommodating! She was a pleasure to be around and the property was truly beautiful! There is not a whole lot around the direct area but you are still so close to the bustle of Zadar! The pool was amazing and the villa had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone!

Villa Vanilla relaxation
This was one of the nicest places we stayed at during a month long European trip. We had the large suite with our own personal pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Beds were great. Best pillows on the trip-memory foam. Living area was nice. Cool pet turtle named Franklin roamed the yard. Perfect parking behind the building. Open area behind the building to walk and explore. It was really too far from the beach to walk to it and that may be the only slight flaw in an in an otherwise perfect spot.

Not an regular hotel
I really have no complaints about this hotel. It was actually really nice. However it is not a resort or a hotel for that matter. This is a family house, and they use the rooms and made them into hotel rooms. The reception is never there so it made it difficult to pay our bill or ask any kind of questions. The location wasn't exactly ideal either. It was about 2 miles away from Old Town and going their at night is a little unnerving. But with all that being said is was a nice little room, it was all clean and fairly safe. It would be great to be if you are bringing children.The owners are very nice and are willing to help you with anything.

This was a clean and comfortable place to stay where the owner made us feel very welcome- nothing was too much trouble. It was a little further away from the old town and beach than we expected but actually this was a good thing as Zadar was quite crowded. It was quiet and relaxing. The kitchen area needed updating in our room but other than that was ok. Overall we were delighted with our choice and will stay here again.

Great Stay!
The apartment, staff and breakfast were all exceptional. The friendly owner accommodated our late arrival just before midnight and was very willing to help in all aspects with advice on local restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. Our apartment had its own terrace and private pool overlooking the main pool, a much appreciated touch although the main pool is also excellent. The substantial breakfast was delivered to the apartment and included omelette or eggs of choice in addition to cheeses, meats, yoghurts, juice and coffee etc. Wi-fi was excellent. Although we had a car, the centre of Zadar is less than two miles away and easily walkable for those with basic fitness. A supermarket is also located half a mile away if you like to self cater using the kitchen equipment, as are several restaurants for those prefer to dine out. All in all a great stay and we will use the accommodation again.

Everyone was very accommodating from the moment I called to say we would be arriving late at night until we checked out and got a lift to the bus station. Clean, comfortable apartment with our own terrace. The pool was lovely and cleaned daily. The supermarket and a few restaurants are close but you need a taxi to get into Zadar town.

Thank you Villa Vanilla staff for everything
First of all the owner of Villa Vanilla was the greatest person I have even met in my life, she was very welcoming and made us feel at home. We were astonished when we first saw the our studio apartment. It is almost full apartment and we had literally everything i.e sofa, dinning table, fireplace, TV, kitchen with all required appliances, closet and separate bed room. Outside of the apartment we got terrace and swimming pool. The area around the villa is very classy and super safe and walkable approx 15 minutes walk to the beach area as well as to the old town. It is highly recommended.

Super nice host at a cute apartment with pool
We were greeted by the very friendly Antonella, who I believe is the granddaughter of the owner. Her English was great and she really made us feel at home. She even went out of her way to get us coffee supplies at 10.30 in the night since we were going to leave early in the morning. The apartment was really cute with a fully equipped kitchen, a giant bathroom with washing machine and a gorgeous outdoor patio with garden furniture overlooking the pool.

Appartement agréable, bien situé la piscine est clairement un plus après la journée a la plage, en visite ou simplement pour une journée de calme. L'hôte est très sympa, souriante et disponible. La propriété est parfaite pour un séjour en famille. Cependant j'ai réservé pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants (j'ai encore vérifié ce jour la reservation) et apparemment nous étions attendu seulement pour 2 adultes, le lit a immédiatement été fait pour mes enfants mais surprise au départ nous avons dut payer 105€ pour "lit supplémentaire" alors que j'avais réglé la totalité pour 4 personnes a la réservation....
