"This hotel was home to many movie stars of the 1940-60’s! It has been kept in fantastic condition and is a rare Route 66 hotel still operational! It is reminiscent of National Forest service lodges, lots of wooden beams and a warm atmosphere! The restaurant is excellent and the 49 bar is great! The bar tender has been there forever and is great to visit with! Stay for a magical Route 66 experience! "

"The room was clean. But the bathtub had a black ring around it. By the time I noticed it was late and I was ready for bed. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. I must also note that the rest of the bathroom was spotless, so it might have an oversight. But I did let the front desk know before we left"
