Our bedding hadn’t been changed out from the previous guest. We pulled the covers back and found hair and dirt. The floors need to be vacuumed as well. When my husband went to talk to the clerk about the issue, another man was complaining about the same issue. The clerk told him there was nothing her could do because the cleaners had all gone home. We slept on top of the covers with a blanket.

Front desk was friendly but the place is dirty and dingy. The bathroom was disgusting and the first floor was so bad smelling ( like mold) I got sick and had to request another room on another floor. Three lobby is immaculate. The rest of the place is a dump. Never again.

The mirrors were filthy, black mold in shower. The shower drained extremely slowly. A wooden block held up our a/c unit. The room was out dated.

I checked in late and went straight to bed so I didn’t get a chance to inspect the room. I had a better view of the room in the morning and noticed: a dead cockroach, a living cricket, a piece of sharp plastic and the carpet was not clean. I would have requested to change rooms if I had noticed that this room was NOT ready when I checked in.

Beds and mattresses had lots of stains. Could hear other guests on both sides of us. Paint chipping in areas and dryer wouldnt dry. Heat element was bad. They did have a decent breakfast snd convenient location for a decent price.

Mediocre at best
There was old food left in the refrigerator, the bathroom sink didn’t drain and a plastic bag placed over the smoke detector so it wouldn’t work if there was a fire. The bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The only positives were a nice pool and pleasant staff.

Every room had an order, damp, musty, cockroaches, pool dirty side entrances to hotel broken locks thank God you had a good staff. Had to leave a day early couldn’t take anymore. Would never go there again or recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful. The only slightly negative comment is that our bathtub and shower curtain were stained with mildew. It kind of freaked my daughter out a little. On a positive note, the shower pressure was wonderful! All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

For the price, this hotel is great. It has seen better times, as the carpet in the hallways is very worn and it could certainly be updated. However, the room was very quiet, the pillows were great and the shower was awesome. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location and very close to William & Mary/Colonial Williamsburg. I would stay here again and recommend.

Hallways carpets appeared dirty. Parts of ceiling inside the room were sagging from water damage. We were traveling with friends, and the room they were assigned had people in it! Signs in the breakfast area were taped to the wall.

The room was not as clean as it should of been, mirrors were dirty, the water in the sink went down really slowly so it stay dirty after brushing your teeth. It had a musky smell, the ac was not powerful enough, it would switch from fan to ac. Worst part of it was, we left early morning came back by 5 p.m room was not clean, we had to go get clean towels from the front desk. It was a cheap hotel, so we weren't expecting much. But definitely expected basic needs from a hotel. Should be alot cheaper.

I liked breakfast. I did not appreciate the uncleanliness of the room, the bathroom is smaller than the photo's showed, you had to literally close the bathroom door just to get to the tub and shower and bam! Soon as you open the bathroom door the toilet is right there. They need to remodel. The pool was super cold because i was told that they only put the heat on in the winter but it is indoors without any sun to hit it and warm it at least a little. I had to get a room change when i first arrived because the last guests left loose pills lined up along the floor alongside of the beds which tells you how poor the cleaning staff is. Aside from that, the area and location is great

Not the hotels fault
The staff was friendly. When I was there the electric was out and the fire alarm kept going off so we had to evacuated two times. Electric didn't come back on for two days.
