There is a terrible stench as you get out of the lift on level 3 which gets worse as you enter the room. It smells very much like wet carpet. Or perhaps it’s very old and disgusting carpet. The room is simply awful. Bland and empty - makes me think it’s what a jail cell would look like. Cheap rug, cheap dirty table. Nothing nice about it at all. Perhaps a nice standing lamp in the empty space could help slightly. Was kept awake at night by the train noise. Would unfortunately never come back.

Coffee table was Filthy Dirty Bedding had Lipstick & what looked like Semen Stains on them. Television Remote Control did not work TV was dirty Bathroom was also dirty Old tobacco smell in the room I have stayed in quite a few Mantra Hotels and by far this was the worse stay. Shame on your Cleaning Staff

The room was spacious and clean. Ran out of toilet paper and milk. These need to be replenished or in cupboards for a two room apartment. Especially as housekeeping is not offered daily.

Check-in was fine. I would suggest as parking is crazy in the Gong. Incorporate parking in the price of your stay. I think $287 a night fair with parking, when mentioned x-tra for secure parking, that’s strange. All should be in the room stay.

Convenient for a day stay over in town. Wished there was a ramp as there are a bunch of stairs to enter the reception area and I didn’t park in the garage. Basic 1 bedder room with huge balcony area, living room could be a bit better and looked a bit uninviting, place was very clean bedroom and shower pressure was good.

A mix up with my booking meant I asked for a high floor but put on the ground floor, then the staff had no record that I’d checked in at all. My dog was concerned because other dogs had marked the hotel room. Furniture and carpet bore clear signs . The air freshener had been sprayed so abundantly that I had a headache my entire stay and I could not open the door as it was on the ground floor - not a single window for ventilation . My dog did not enjoy her stay, and neither did i
