They cater to flight attendants, so I assumed it was probably a good hotel for it being older. Upkeep and customer service are not priorities. It took 5 people to get a to-go order at the restaurant. No hostess up front but when she got there, she left to find out who could take the order then sent me to a waitress station. The waitress there said she'd be with me in a minute then left to check seated customers. Next waitress asked if she could help then sent me to the bar. The person at the bar took my order, handed me a ticket with no signature lines and no pen and then disappeared. Another person at the bar asked if he could help I told him I had a to go order. He found it and got it started. While I waited he asked waitress #2 if she was glad to be back at work and with all the sarcasm she could muster she said she was. He told her he could cover her area and his. He was doing a great job, stayed busy, checked on people, wasnt overly friendly, didnt pretend to be busy. The staff restaurant dont seem to like or communicate with each other, so I knew I couldnt relax/return there. The hotel has popcorn ceilings which is expected, but not the brown stains, leaking areas, and missing light covers. The last day of my trip i realized there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling corners of my room including the bathroom and part of the patio door opening. First time I EVER got stale/hard cookie at a Double Tree, but I got fresh ones later. Depressing location.

For the price I paid I would expect a hot shower. Exhausted from travel, tired, the holidays. They stuck me in the far tower and when I tried to take a shower, I ended up taking a cold one! I called maintenance because I wanted a hot shower the next day, and my TV didn’t work. They fixed the TV. He ran the hot water in the shower for 20 minutes or so. Then he told me that it takes a while for the hot water to get there because there’s not many people staying that far out in the tower. The next morning, I got up early and ran the water for 40 minutes. It was still a cold shower and I had to leave for the airport. Also, they were not doing room service. I know that’s really not a big deal, but I didn’t wanna walk two blocks to the restaurant downstairs. So I ate a free cookie for dinner. I will never stay there again. I would like to point out the staff at the front desk were great.

Staff were very excellent. Chose this hotel after flight was cancelled. Unfortunately It’s very run down, old, confusing lay out to get to rooms/lobby etc, dimly lit rooms, dated, old furniture, chips in walls, paint, doors, carpet coming away from the walls. Expensive food options. Outdoor pool only. Family of 5. The suite with 3 beds was nice that someone didn’t need to sleep on a couch. But would not return unless refurbished.

The heat didn’t work in room they came to “fix it” then it ran all night got very hot. Bed was horrible. Felt like my feet was higher then my head and very uncomfortable
