We found mold in our room, absolutely unacceptable. Won't book with Expedia again..this is only a 2 star hotel don't trust reviews on Expedia. Much better options in the area.

The staff was wonderful. From check in to check out and everything in between, they were friendly, couteous and helpful. The cleaning staff waa super accommodating. The building was tired and beat up. The bathroom had a distinct mildewy smell, stained shower curtain, rusted fittings, and dirty walls. The freezer had a red stain in it, not sure what it was but we were scared to use it. The people across the hall brought their dog who whined all morning and the hall reaked of wet dog. Parking was ample.

The hotel was clean, enjoyed staying there, but the room we were in had a bad, noisy mattress, everytime you got up off side of bed it sounded like tin can crunching . Room 418 needs a new mattress. Had a room humidifier blowing warm air in room, air condition struggled and stayed at 77 degrees.

Staff was very friendly and made you feel like family! We got there 4-5 hours earlier than our check in and they allowed us to enjoy the pool and were able to get us into our room over an hour before we were supposed to. General Manager, Brett, is doing an amazing job and we can’t wait to be back.

The guest rooms need an update. The lamps with outlets were filthy and or rusty in spots. The outlets in the lamps were so loose that it was difficult to keep the power connected to devices.

Friendly staff, great location
Clean rooms and right on the beach. Room included 2 beach chairs to use and hotel has outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach. The 2 pools are nice, especially the one with Tiki Bar. Bartender was great and hotel gives you token for each adult to use at Tiki Bar. Hotel staff were all friendly. Early check in is possible, as well as late check out.

Great location. However, the parking lot is in need of maintenance. There was a lot of trash in the lot and around the hotel. We have stayed at the hotel for many years and for the last 4, at least one elevator hasn't worked. I'm not sure what the 'destination fee' covers but it is disappointing to pay the fee and have to park in a lot that is unmaintained and presents as an unsafe environment. When we entered our hotel, it was obvious that work had been done in the area of the air conditioner, as we noticed a moderate amount of dry wall dust in the corner that wasn't clean up prior to our arrival.
