The hotel location is great for train station, shops, bars and restaurants. Staff are friendy at reception and also in the dining room. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and if you like TV there is now a good range of British channels.

Willie at the Gran Cervantes
The hotel is very central in Torremolinos. Saff were very helpful. On arrival I was able to access my room very early. When leaving around 5 am I was given a breakfast package to take away. I like the bedroom facilities. I was able to get a good sleep although I would have preferred a firmer mattress. The meals were generally good although I'd have liked more good quality meat choices. Overall I hope to stay at the hotel on future visits to Torremolinos.

The hotel was clean , staff good but no entertainment whilst I was there until 11.30-12.00 the all inclusive package was limited drinks and definitely not normal strength. I wasn’t there to get drunk as I’m 58 and was a women on my own but I may as well been drinking lemonade. You would expect to feel a little tipsy after 7 vodka and 7 up I certainly didn’t. Great if you just want a place to chill round the pool during the day but my advice would be don’t bother with all inclusive

I dont think it merits 4 star. Its not good on maintenance. Our shower unit was lose. The shower gel holder did not work. The wardrobe doors were stuck very difficult to open and close. Muck and dirt under the beds for days.

There is nothing to recommend this hotel. They don't even honour the room type (sea view) charged at an extortionate premium so what hope is there for anything else. Definitely not a 4* hotel. One of the worst hotels I have ever visited in large part due to the terrible reception staff who do not answer the thephone and laugh at any misfortune. . Really nasty staff.

Disappointing
Rooms and communal areas were ok. However there are not enough lifts for the number of guests in the hotel leading to long waits for them. Same with the pool area which was crowded. They also insisted on pretty playing pretty awful loud music around the pool which didn’t make for a relaxing atmosphere.The breakfast wasn’t great either. I’m not sure what was in the fruit juice but it wasn’t fruit. Also the 10am breakfast finish which seemed early to me anyway was enforced with military rigour. Seems harsh when some days you have to queue 10 minutes to get into the breakfast room anyway. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff, from the front desk up to housekeeping up to breakfast restaurant up to bar tendering, all staff is doing their utmost best always despite the immense business going on during touristic seasons, even when the hotel is at full occupancy, they all do work with a smile on their face to serve us, visitors, at their Grand Cerventas, BLUE, wherefore my special thanks to all of them.

The Front Desk people are very kind, courteous and friendly, especially Vanessa, she's like an angel with the clientèle, a beautiful mother, and for sure she deserves esteem and compliments, I am sure she must have a husband who adores her.
