A wonderful oasis after a busy trip.
Although our phone app took us on a wild goose chase and this property is outside of town, we were so pleased with our accomodation we would highly recommend it. We were warmly greeted by our host and shown around the property. They have a great swimming pool that we unfortunatly were unable to enjoy due the weather. Wonderful places to sit outside where we were sheltered from the rain and a very comfortable living area inside. Lots of sleeping room, all the amenities we needed. We'd come again in a heart beat.

Pretty villa, very clean and well stocked kitchen for cooks. Good location as less than an hour from sights and walks in the national parks, host was helpful and friendly. Potted plants and furnishings gave the villa a cosy vibe

The property was spotlessly clean and Filomena was so helpful. The property is very remote so a car was necessary but we stayed at the property enjoying the pool and BBQ area. The only disappointment was that we were not aware the pool was down some stairs away from the main property, but overall a great time had by all.

Ideal oasis just outside Tomar
If you are looking for a charming rural oasis, a beautiful property with lovely vistas, a home that is well suited to groups large and small, this is the place. Our host, Filomena, ensured our every need was attended to. The home is about a 7 min drive from Tomar.

Amazing country getaway
This is a great option if you need a quiet few days away from Lisbon. The property has a sizable garden and three patios, giving you plenty of outdoor space. Filomena was an incredibly attentive host. When we didn’t have olive oil, she sent someone to give us some. When our kitchen sink clogged, she came right over to fix it. We’re very happy with our choice.

Perfect location for us.
This was a lovely property with a beautiful view, very comfortable and everything you might need for your stay. Filomena and her sister were very welcoming and the icing on the cake was the lovely cosy wood burner for when it turned chilly in the evening. The perfect location for our visit. Filomena was a lovely host. She greeted us warmly and left us a fire burning in the fireplace and a small cake and some homemade jam. Her property was very spacious and peaceful. Highly recommend. It was a bit hard to find. Maybe a brighter address in mailbox would help?

All that we wanted
Our hosts were discreet and helpful. Although we had superb weather for November, the outside temperature dropped in the evenings but the heating in the house worked well and we were so happy to have the log fire. Our hosts made sure that we were supplied with plenty of logs as well as ensuring the heating system was on. Very quiet place surrounded in fruit, nuts and olive trees with good access to surrounding places of interest. We had our little 15 month old daughter with us and I can say that she was so happy there. There was a well equipped play area, cot and high chair - perfect. The furnishings and decorations were very tasteful and it was a pleasure to be in the house of an evening with the fire raging.

A quiet rural heaven
Stayed here for a week in November and loved every minute. Comfortable, clean, well equiped, spacious, quiet and in a lovely area. Philomena was lovely and dropped off a basket full of home grown fruit for our consumption. Extra bits in the kitchen - salt ,pepper, vinegar, spices, oil, various tea's and coffe which made life much easier for us. Could not recommend enough.

Wir haben 2 ½ tolle Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Die Beschreibung trifft voll und ganz zu und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Das Haus und auch die Terrassen sind wirklich liebevoll und gemütlich gestaltet und laden zum Entspannen ein. Und auch die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung unternommen, dafür liegt der Ort sehr gut. Aber es muss einem klar sein, dass man auf jeden Fall ein Auto benötigt, um wirklich flexibel zu sein. Wir haben die Zeit wirklich sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

L’hébergement que propose Filomena est totalement conforme aux photos et équipé comme pour y vivre. Il s’agit du rdc de sa maison. Un très grand salon salle à manger avec cuisine ouverte, 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains. Vous disposez également de 2 terrasses adjacentes pour prendre vos repas dehors dont une avec vue plongeante sur la colline boisée. En contre-bas, se trouve le jardin en terrasse planté d arbres fruitiers dont des orangers et citronniers aux fruits délicieux, ainsi que la piscine hors sol et sa terrasse couverte. Filomena est très accueillante tout en restant extrêmement discrète. Vous avez’l’impression d’avoir la propriété pour vous tout seul. La maison se trouve dans un hameau à 15 mns du centre de Tomar et 10 des supermarchés. Très facile d’accès mais un véhicule est indispensable. Je recommande en famille.
