"This was an absolutely stellar house in an awesome location. A lot of things are actually within than walking distance, and the home itself was extremely clean and well kept. If not in walking distance, everything is easily within a 5-10 minute drive if you wanted to venture out off the island into Swansboro or Cape Carteret. You’re a block away from private beach access as well which is a nice perk. We went in the offseason to visit friends but still had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for hosting! "

"The bedroom with the canopy bed was beautiful. It was so comfortable! The plants were a nice touch also. The house was well stocked. Since our vacation was during the Thanksgiving holiday we decided to cook our meal there. There was nice cookware available. We had plenty of cleaning supplies & laundry supplies on hand. We have no complaints at all! Hope to be able to use this rental again! "

"My husband and I decided to stay at EI a second week after our adult children returned home. We didn't need a huge place to stay and this was just right. The owners were very friendly and above us the entire week but never heard a sound. The unit was clean and just as described. The ability to drive and park down at the beach was wonderful so we didn't have to haul our chairs and my husbands fishing gear by foot. However it is still close enough to easily walk to the beach or pier. It is small but just as described, perfect for 1-2 people. Also we left behind a few important items and the host was so accommodating to send them in the mail. Thank you!"
