The staff were extremely helpful and generous with their time plus courteous. Possibly I was given a newly refurbished room which was very good. Everything I needed except the bathroom sink was too small and poorly designed. Not the fault of El Toro of course. Restaurants deserve praise . Thanks. Jeff H.

I had 3 rooms booked with small problems in each of the rooms. One room had a squeaky door and a hard to open entrance door, another the towl rack fell down and the other room the hot water took a bit long to come through. The basins in the bathroom were small. i hit my head trying to get some water to rinse my mouth out after cleaning my teeth. There is also no mirror above the basins

Needed a cheap family accommodation and we were more than pleasantly surprised. In terms of valuue for money, you can hardly do better. Our room had clearly been renovated recently, it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very quiet too and every necessary appliance worked (AC, fridge, water kettle, TV, and hair-dryer). Not sure if some of the older reviews are prior to these renovations, but I have honestly never stayed in an accommodation in Sydney for this price with this level of comfort. We'll definitely come back. It's not a holiday accommodation, but if you need a comfortable place to stay for a night or two, this is perfect.

Currently under construction so a lot of mess. Had problems with the shower as the water kept going straight to cold whilst showering which was very shocking. Not sure what the reason was behind this but eventually found a good balance where the cold water shock stopped

At 1st, after reading the reviews. We weren't sure about El Toro. Time was running out and we made a booking, wow, we discovered one of the best stays we have experienced. The rooms are spacious and squeaky clean, the supporting Mexican restaurant is artistic, delicious and very affordable. A great place for a fan night wirh the Family. We'll be back.

Walking to the property, first impression was, we are NOT staying here. Looks very old and run down. Went to reception, very friendly and helpful and advised that they are doing renovations then went to room and was very surprised. Very clean and updated. Great shower!!
