We stayed in the motel section, a little too close to the road noise. Next time will pick the nicer cabins. The restaurant made up for this as the dining and bar options were amazing! Roth it just for the restaurant.

The location was convenient for a visit to Lassen. We had dinner at the Highlands Ranch Restaurant which was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience and we'd delicious go back.

Very convenient to Lassen Park. Bistro on the property and restaurant across the street had good food and friendly staff. Both great places to relax and have dinner after hiking.

the motel has been updated. Its high priced but that is to be expected in todays world and also the location is far from anywhere. The dining was excellent and the help was the best. I don't thing you can go wrong. A great way to to go the Park..

This is an updated oasis in a really beautiful location. Staff is very friendly, rooms very clean, beds comfortable with nice linens. Signage could be a bit better, but this is a fairly remote spot, and one needs to roll with things.

Great find
Highlands is a gorgeous property. They have more luxurious rooms on one side of the road with the restaurant. We stayed other side of the road at the Village at the highlands. Simple but well appointed. Great for our 1 night stay. A few minutes drive to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. The restaurant was 5 star. Delicious, make a reservation. Staff was awesome.

Great staff friendly, helpful. If you are going to LASSEN NP be sure to check if roads are open …. Even early June roads were closed due to snow! Highlands is right on the doorstep to the park great location, excellent dining.
