VERY EXPENSIVE DATED HOTEL, BEWARE!!!

Felt completely "gouged" by this place. Staff was excellent, but $23 for the crappiest breakfast buffet & dated rooms w/bathrooms where the showers won't rinse out conditioner from your hair. 2 bottles of water on check-in, then $3 per bottle after that??? I know Paris needs a new house, but the prices for the very dated hotel were close to highway robbery. 2 fire alarms in 1 day, slept with room smelling like smoke, no, didn't sleep, 3 nights there, averaged 3 hours of sleep each night. The Hiltons should be ashamed of taking advantage of event attendees in this manner. Ordered hamburgers from their restaurant & they were so bad, that we left them, (hate wasting food!) & still had a check for 2 sandwiches & fries for $50. If you don't care what it costs then book this place. Otherwise, BEWARE!

Housekeeping was terrible. We had to go down to the front desk in the evenings to get clean towels and coffee. Our room was never serviced over a 3-day span. The staff seem to be very disinterested in the issues. We will not be returning to this hotel or staying at any affiliated hotel.

Absolutely loved staying here at American Hotel Atlanta. We visited Atlanta for New Years and this was a great location for a first time visit. It was very close to everything- Centennial Park, College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, & even just a 15 minute walk to Mercedes Benz stadium. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for everything, Tenn- you were the best!!

Parking is no the oposite side of the hotel (free). Check in was easy and smooth. Elevators are room key activated. Checked in to a One King Size Bed, room was clean, although for the picky people the shower wasn’t in its “best” condition, it could’ve been better. The thermostat works great! TV, WiFI, and charging ports are great. This stay was comfortable, peaceful, and 100% recommend for your stay in Atlanta.
