Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean, and the pool, hot tub and beach were top notch. No need to bring a car as everything we needed was within walking distance. Highly recommend!

The room was clean, as were the hallways. The garage area looked OK once i reminded myself 2 hurricanes passed by in the past few monthes. The out door heated pool was AMAZING. Parking was a bit confusing because they share the parking with the hotel next door and not well marked at 11 pm. Lighting at night on the whole was sketchy. Hilton/Hampton are the only places where i have had to pay to park afer paying well over $200.00 per night for a room.

Spectacular VALUE! Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Location was ideal. I love the clean rooms and that the rugs have been ripped out. Walking distance to almost everything you could need including market across the street and public beach around the corner. Complimentary breakfast was perfect with ample choices. Beach was clean and the shells were plentiful from the storm. Mark T rocked every private beach/pool visit with a smile and was very informative. No dolphin excursions needed. They swim by all day! For the sunrise/sunset enthusiasts: 5-10 minute drive, walk, bike ride for a horizon sunrise but sunsets did not disappoint! Restaurant across the walkway at the Dolphin was quaint, bartenders/manager were fun, and the crab cakes/boom boom shrimp yummy. From management, desk, housekeeping, and even the parking attendant I can’t say enough about this group. They are bouncing back from the hurricane and work well as a team. It’s quite obvious they take pride in their jobs! Pool and hot tub open. I already want to go back!

Even though the property conditions are fine and the staff is great, there are better hotel's choices in the close area for the same price or even lower. Management should attract more guess offering a lower price, free parking and/or free beach sunbeds and umbrellas. Overall, the experience was positive but after the first visit to Clearwater, you know your choices for the second one.

I stay in Tampa once per month and am always looking for new hotels, better deals, etc. This hotel was nothing like I expected and was EXTREMELY overpriced in my opinion. * The restaurant and bar were shut down, this was not mentioned on their website when booking and pricing wasn't adjusted. * The pool was closed due to construction, also not mentioned or reflected in the price. * The A/C in the room wouldn't go below 68 degrees. (Thank goodness it was cooler outside because we had to sleep with the door to the balcony open) * The shower was awful, there was limited water pressure and the wall would vibrate every few seconds. * The breakfast had a good selection of pastries, yogurt, etc. but there were no bacon/sausage/protein options. until the 4th day I was there. * The fridge in the studio suite was a MINI FRIDGE, I couldn't fit a regular leftover box in there and had to throw away the food I brought back to my room. * The bed wasn't very comfortable, not horrible, but I expected more for a hotel that charges about $300/night. What I did like: * The hotel is in a great area (aside from the traffic, but that's to be expected due to the location) * The coffee was hot each morning * The staff was nice * The desk in the room was a good size and offered plenty of space.
