Interior Details
The heart of the 6 500+ -square-foot main house is the open 2000 sq ft main floor designed for entertaining and gathering. It is comprised of defined spaces that include the “the Big Hall” the main seating area with 25’ ceilings, a dramatic 10’ high limestone fireplace (made from imported Italian million-year-old fossil limestone), and Italian travetine floors.
The large dining room is dominated by both a one-piece hand hewn 12’ black walnut dining table and an 18’ artisan-crafted wood light fixture dubbed the “Candle Log Ra”. The floor-to-ceiling dining room fireplace is composed of stones sourced from the property. The chef’s kitchen has professional grade appliances (2 oven Wolf range large Sub-Zero fridge…) two walk in pantries an authentic wood burning brick pizza oven and a 16-foot-long island with a new quartz countertop with seating for 8.
The main floor also includes an office with a custom-crafted wood desk.
The second-floor main primary bedroom is a suite with a King bed a sitting area 2 walk-in closets a 200-year-old Russian fireplace and wraparound balcony with spectacular views. The primary bathroom has a new steam shower a claw-foot tub a double vanity and magnificent hand-laid mosaic floors replicating the finest villas in Tuscany and an outdoor area with 3 showers.
A second primary bedroom has a Queen bed and wraparound balcony with the same spectacular views and a stone fireplace. The bathroom features 2 Italian console sinks a unique mosaic shower and Japanese tub and the same magnificent mosaic floors.
The two other bedrooms with queen-beds are a unique blend of vintage and modern with fully renovated bathrooms. The third floor has a large sitting and TV room with a balcony and great views of the property plus a glass wall overlooking the main floor. A large custom-crafted redwood (from the property) barn door separates the next room a bunk room with a one-of-a-kind hand-crafted double bunk. French doors then separate the next Queen bedroom which also includes a landing for additional sleeping or yoga.
All bedrooms have ample multipane windows and French doors bathing the rooms in natural light. Most of the rooms have balconies. The main house also has a very unique and special newly-built mancave with a bar counter stools a sitting area to watch TV a 4-piece bathroom and small wine storage room.
In addition to the main house guests can relax in the pool house which includes 2 additional bedrooms (one with a sleeper sofa seating and TV) a sitting room and 2 bathrooms.
Exterior Details
Views abound and the house features several outdoor patios and terraces (including a 1000 sq ft flagstone) with breathtaking views of Pritchard Hill and Lake Hennessy.
The property and its 3 man-made lakes open to nearly 650 additional acres (that comprise Mr. Kuletos original property) acres of vineyard mountainsides and hills.
House Rules
This property is subject to local regulations governing vacation rental properties. Under local law, events, parties and outdoor amplified music are not allowed. Overnight and day time occupancy is limited to 15 guests, and rental guests must observe quiet hours between 9:00pm and 9:00 am. Any request for a pet to stay on the property must be approved by the owner, and an additional $250 cleaning fee applies. This fee does not apply to service animals. The pool is not fenced or covered, and is heated only between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
