Great location, a few service improvements
The hotel is in a great location with direct beach access. The room was spacious and clean, although could use with a revamp as some parts felt a little dated. The heated pool with the bar was lovely. Drinks at the bar were good and evening entertainment was fun. When we checked in we were asked for a card for payment, however the original card used to secure the room through hotels.com was actually charged which was confusing. We had requested a King room but were given a double queen and told no Kings were available, however online it looked like the hotel was still selling King rooms which was confusing. Breakfast was not explained to us and we were not given vouchers for it; we tried Breakfast on the 2nd day and it was almost an hour between getting down there and ordering our food. A buffet would be better. I asked 3 times for a hot drink but never received one. After finishing breakfast I asked if we needed to provide our room number as it was included in our rate, however I received the check and was told we ordered the wrong menu items so had to pay - this had not been explained to us, but after speaking with the front desk they took care of it. The food was OK at best.

Bad room…. Toilet wouldn’t flush
Very very bad room. 1. When we went in I noticed the toilet had dark spots and clutter in the water. When I flushed it the water flowed VERY slowly. 2. Carpet in the whole room was damp. Room had a funky smell. 3. When I tried to rinse off, the water was cluttered with junk coming from inside the faucet. We couldn’t get it to work from the shower head. It wouldn’t work because it seemed stuck with brown junk. 4. At 1:00 in the morning, my husband was sick from his stomach and the toilet wouldn’t flush. He ended up FIXING THE TOILET HIMSELF! 5. Tried to shower and it wouldn’t work. He FIXED THE SHOWER HEAD HIMSELF. I know the front desk told us maintenance would have fixed it, but when you are sick, you can’t wait around for someone to come and fix the toilet. You need it NOW!!!

Needs an update
Nice hotel with easy access to the beach. Unfortunately, the hotel needs to be renovated soon. Only one floor had an ice machine that worked, ATM, soda, and coffee machines were out of order. Heated pool had many of the floor tiles missing. Outside AC units had rusted grills that looked like they could fall and hurt someone, especially the ones on the higher floors. On the positive side the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The room pretty big and very clean. Our only complaint would be our lack of a view (it was facing a group of condos) and the hallway was hot and clammy.

A waste of money. I paid $732 for 3 nights at this hotel, and was promised certain benefits under my expedia membership. Upon arrival the hotel told me those were no longer offered and didn’t bother trying to amend the situation by offering anything in exchange. Friends I was with stayed in a similar room for the same amount of nights and paid $300. The rooms were dirty and humid. It took 30 minutes for us to get fresh towels the 2nd day, and when we arrived all the power in our room didn’t work due to a broken power cord. They don’t even offer free coffee snd the machine at the front where you buy coffee had sour milk. Not impressed by anything about this property.

The property was great for families and is located right on the beach. The area around the hotel is walkable, with dozens of things to do and dining options nearby. The hotel is older and shows some signs of the time, like slow elevators and the pool areas in slight need of repair. Staff was helpful and gave a late check out when asked.

Nice, clean hotel with wonderful food and service on the cleanest beach. Rooms were could and clean, beds were comfy and rates were very reasonable for what we received. Food was delicious and because we were there for only 2 days we chose to eat onsite for all meals. Shout out to Nancy, am breakfast server/manager, Scott at the beach restaurant and Roberto, evening server. Did I mention there’s a swim up bar, lol?
