We had a lovely time. We only stayed one night, the staff were excellent and the evening meal just perfect. The only dissapointment was the breakfast experience , The girl who booked us in was very detached . Once she had said her speel which was quicker than a lidl checkout and i couldnt understand her ,her interest was gone and sadly the breakfast was cold . If they could capture in the morning what they do in the evening i would then say it was excellent.

Beautiful room with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The hot tub wasn't working when we first came into the room, but the staff were happy to sort it for us. We also ordered pizza and it was delivered to the room free of charge and was tasty, but the breakfast was even better!

Lovely hotel.
We had an extremely comfortable stay. Room was very spacious including a huge bathroom with both a bath and walk in shower. Food was delicious especially the breakfast. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. We stayed for the night on the way back from a day at Bath. The hotel also communicated beforehand that there was an event on so our room would be the furthest away, which ended up being the case. It was very quiet whilst the rest of the hotel was very busy. The only recommendation was that it wasn’t clear what breakfast was available and it wasn’t until we ate cereal, fruit etc which was in the breakfast area that we seen others ordered cooked breakfast, so if we knew how and where beforehand it would have been the perfect experience. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Overall a good stay. Room for 4 people was nice and clean, the view from the window wasn't the best-overlooking the roof of the hotel, but we were only staying 1 night.. the restaurant food was good but we waited a long time due to ordering system fault.. however, the restaurant manager has sorted the problem out and offered us drinks on the house. Breakfast was very good and you can order a'la carte. Good stay overall.

A truly remarkable hotel in a quiet corner of Somerset, yet within minutes of Wells and Glastonbury. Oh, and the views from the roof terrace bar are wonderful!
