I hope the new owners fix this place up. I used to stay here as a kid when it was a Shilo Inn, would hate to see it continue to go down hill. Lots of things needed maintenance, but I will check back again next year.

This was our first trip staying at this location. We absolutely LOVED the close proximity to the beach and the awesome fireplace in our room. Sadly our rooms balcony which faced the beach was overshadowed by the loud air vent right outside of it which ruined the view and was extremely loud constantly. My girls loved the location of the pool facing the beach but the bottom of the poor a surface was rough and hurt their feet and they didn’t enjoy swimming. Was also disappointing the hotel had no breakfast options on site. Our fridge was also not plugged in and all of our leftover food went bad. We did enjoy our stay and would consider returning if things change.

The location is excellent. The staff are nice and very helpful. They respond quickly. The property itself is old. Fridge was making ticking noise, the water on the tub when taking a shower doesn’t drain well(water get collected and youre like showering and bathing the same time, the sliding door to the balcony doesn’t lock and the balcony smells like dog poo, the couch have dog hair. If you have a pet, it’s a perfect place to stay. But if you don’t and are allergic to cat or dog, it’s not the place to stay.

This property is a former Shilo Inn that has't been renovated. We had a hole in the kitchen where the dishwasher would be, Soft spots in the floor, A low crooked toilet, old carpeting, a gad fireplace that would occasionally make a popping noise (We quit using it), and a curiously rewired stove with burners that didnt correspond to the dials on the front.

Amazing and friendly staff, but the place needs a serious remodel, plus nearly 30 dollars a night for a pet??? That is absurd! Price should be lower considering the condition of the property.
