Close to the airport with a regular shuttle, this was a clean convenient stay for our late night arrival. Breakfast had many options and the fresh fruit and delicious coffee in particular were very welcome in the morning.

We stayed in the Hampton By Hilton prior to flying out from San Jose airport early the next morning. It was the perfect hotel for a stopover, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and transportation from the hotel to airport was easy with a shuttle bus that left every half an hour. There was also a Denny’s restaurant within walking distance.

The staff is polite. My room was large, but it was noisy. The walls are thin and I could hallway noise, running above me,the elevator, cars and planes. I did not think the hotel was this close to the airport. There is food available in the hotel, meals served 6-10. There is a Dennys, a small restaurant and a casino that serves food, all within the complex.

Every staff member was kind, courteous and spoke fluent English. This made it easy to ask questions. The seating area for the smoking section out front was very beautiful. It did not seem like an afterthought but rather it gave smokers the sense that they too can relax.

Perfect spot to stay when we arrived late to Costa Rica and left early at the end of our trip. Had 24 hour shuttle to the airport which was needed as our flight was at 7:20am and we needed to be there at 4:30am. Rooms and bathrooms were clean both time we stayed. Ac was great in the room.

We booked a double queen and got a single king. The room was nice and updated. The check in process took a long time and then our key didn’t work. When I returned to the front desk I had to wait in line again to get a working key. Having only one agent at the desk this took a very long time. The included breakfast was great and had good fresh options. The day time security officer was very friendly and remembered us by name.
