Location was okay, walkable. Pet friendly and clean. However , its very noisy our room and window just facing the main street. The bed needs upgrade it's not good for those people with back issue, we feel like were sinking into the bed .The door lock needs to check my son was not able to lock the door good thing he brought his own.

The main big room needs blinds on the window by the nook bench. You can see through the sides. No privacy. We couldn't use the hair dryer due to a power outage the morning we were checking out. Cleaning staff are really friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. Good room. Clean and quiet. Good bed and close to town so we didnt need a car to shop or eat. Cool check-in was without seeing a desk person, we just used the given code provided on our phone and entered our room. We sent three messages to the hotel questioning rules on pets and all three messages were ignored; very frustrating.

The room was spotless and clean. The young lady in the office was extremely nice when we went to grab some ice. My only complaint was the bed, it wasn’t comfortable. Please tip the hard working ladies that clean the rooms as we did because it was beyond spotless !

We went to Solvang for a couple's getaway. Viking Inn was fantastic as it was close to the main shops but also removed to where it felt like a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy shops. The layout of the inn was great as we only shared a wall with one other room, but it was the bathroom wall. Viking Inn notes that they're remodeling, which is super understandable, and it's great that they're making improvements. My partner and I loved it and enjoyed the biking option. We also loved the Wine Passport! My partner and I loved the recommendations for wine tasting! While some minor repairs are needed, you can tell that this inn is being remodeled with lots of attention to detail and care. This inn was very thoughtful in their care for guests, and we are certainly returning! Thank you, hosts, for being so attentive and understanding and letting us come by to see your dog!
