The hotel had its heyday in the 70/80s it seems and not all of the rooms have been updated. However, there are no bed bugs, the rooms are relatively clean (found 2 cm of dust piled up on bed skirts behind mattress but bedding was clean). Old or damaged furniture. Microwave, refrigerators, and AirCon worked great. Pool looked fabulous and many utilized it, however, when here for work and very long days, I was too tired to use. DoorDash delivered from multiple nearby locations. Felt safe here.

Our room was right in front of a cemetery, it was creepy. What happens at the front desk at our check out, was really very uncomfortable. My wife request a bathroom and host lady said "we don't have restroom in this area" my wife insisted saying please "I have an emergency", the host lady, which did not had a badge, got upset got a key and put the key hard on the counter and saying faster where the restroom was, my wife did not understand what she said and asked again, the lady out of control repeat the directions yelling in front of other customers at the area. Later after when my wife return and compliant about her attitude, she justified her offense by saying she was very busy. We checked out around 10:30am

The property was very clean, safe and in a very convenient location to restaurants and shopping. However, the day before our travel (paid in full in advance) the hotel notified us that the free breakfast & gym facilities were not available due to construction. The breakfast is a biggie to us as my husband needs to eat first thing in the morning. The gym facility is also important to us as my husband has some ongoing health issues and does go to the gym daily. We had asked through email & at the front desk if there would be any compensation due to these two amenities not being available and since we have booked through Expedia we would have to contact them. I haven’t done this yet as we just got home today. Other than that, I would certainly recommend this hotel because if everything else being a 5 star.

Remodeled room was nice including bathroom and sink with good shampoo conditioner, shower gel, lotion and hand cleaner. Nice Keurig coffee maker with good coffee, tea. Pleasant courtyard well maintained. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful as was maintenance person. The frint desk ladies were also both friendly and helpful at check in and out. Many many choices for shopping and eating. Usually I'm lifetime Marriott Platinum and working on Hilton stays now so know when a hotel is well managed as this one is. FYI: I seldom leave reviews

Black mold in shower
I've had a terrible experience with black mold at an air bnb but didn't expect that from a hotel. The carpets were stained, and the room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. I have a toddler and an infant but couldn't bathe them considering there was mold on the walls of the shower. My wife even wanted to leave mid stay but we couldn't find any other spots.

We stayed in a room where there's a shared doorway to another. The first night was fine since there was no one staying next door. The second night the people next door were talking until 5am and there's no sound insulation. We can hear everything through that door. The AC in the room is pretty loud too. We had to turn it off in the middle of the night.

We stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday and had the best time. The staff was very friendly and the checkin process was super easy! The area surrounding the property is very cute, with shopping and dining all around. We would stay here again!

Researched hotels based on amenities as we were staying for a 7 day vacation. Not as advertised! Microwave - none Two pools/hot tub - one closed (the one closest to our room, green constriction barrier surround On site restaurant Treehouse Restaurant - closed (empty and for lease) Bar/lounge - none Room service - none Fitness room - none although you could use the gym down the street apparently. “All guest rooms boast private decks or balconies that overlook the hotels gardens or pools” - we were given a room with balcony facing parking lot. We moved as per request. Free breakfast - none however we were notified of that after we booked. Paid higher rate to get in renovated room because we wanted a nice vacation, so disappointed. We have stayed several times at the Best Western Plus on Bath St. but it was booked for our dates so thought this location would be comparable, it was not. Paid a higher price than advertised for same dates which I’m sure was changed due to lack of amenities, unfortunately we did not get the lower rates booking through Expedia.
