This hotel is worth every penny. It's as if someone took a while bunch of customer review data over many years and found what matters most to hotel goers and what doesn't then created the Oxford around that. I guess that sounds like there isn't much meat on the bone here but I think it nails what's important: bed comfort, ease of check in and storage space. Even the soap is nice! That being said, it's not without fault. The bar style doors, while trendy and appropriate for the area, are not installed well. There's a clear gap that anyone can look into (they obviously be people you checked in with but still). The sound proofing isn't great. You can hear people stomping around outside and above. This is a pretty big negative in my book. I still hold that this a good value for the money. There's live entertainment in the bar at night and a great buffet breakfast in the morning. I'd recommend for anyone who isn't the child of a CEO and would care about things like Michelin starred dining and service.

It smells nice in the parking lot and surrounding areas. Lots of lavender and rosemary growing. Super clean inside and out. Check in went quick and front desk staff was so nice and friendly. I have a pet and they were attentive to both of us. Room is lovely and bed is comfortable. I can’t wait to take advantage of the soaking tub in the morning! Maybe I’ll stay an extra day just for fun, as it’s that nice:)

Everything was amazing, but the bed and breakfast experience wasn’t what it used to be. The food felt like it was all processed, with nothing fresh or exciting. It was almost depressing, serving as a reminder that you’re in a hotel rather than enjoying a charming getaway, even though the facilities themselves create that getaway feel.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was the highlight, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The gym was wonderful and the rooms were clean and spacious. Plus our dogs got treats on check in!
