Very cool, older place. Overall it was a clean location, but the room itself showed the age of the building. The floors throughout were slopping and we both felt a little dizzy because of it. There were also small things, like a stain here, a crack there, that detracted but overall, solidly good. Perry's is the best hotel restaurant I have been to.

The hotel location is so perfect to the San Francisco Marathon, within a few minutes of walk distance to the start and finish line. The room is a bit dark, but spacious and quiet. The water pressure from the shower head is surprising powerfully, given the drought in CA. The free coffee (good coffee too!) and pastries set out in the lobby in the morning hours are very appreciated by our family. The only downside is the sewage smell coming from the toilet, specially during the nights. It gets better once we close the toilet lit, close the bathroom door, and turn on the bathroom fan.

The rooms are small but feel comfy. This hotel is in a fantastic location in San Francisco for anyone wanting to conveniently walk to the Ferry Market building or an even longer walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Room was clean and quiet each night. Staff at front desk very helpful and pleasant.
