The Vintage Round Top is a 2400 sq ft vacation rental designed in a “Modern Vintage" style. It's decorated with custom light fixtures, reclaimed woods, as well as one-of-a-kind vintage finds. The interior of this highly publicized home is peaceful, serene, and inspiring. A tremendous amount of time and effort was put into the fine details to make it an experience you’ll soon not forget.

It’s been named the Best Place To Stay in Round Top by countless magazines, blogs and news articles including Country Living, Conde Nast Traveler, Texas Monthly, Southern Living magazines as well as numerous design and coffee table books.

This hip and unique home sits on an acre and a half of beautiful country pasture with an extensive covered porch including a picnic table and several seating areas.

Conveniently located on the main road (Hwy 237) only one mile from the charming town of Round Top with art galleries, antique shops, wine bars, and cafes that rival the big cities. It’s within walking distance to 9 antique shows during the Spring and Fall Round Top Antique Fairs, a quarter mile from the world-class Festival Hill Music Hall, a 200 acre campus containing major performance facilities, historic houses, extensive gardens, walking trails and nature preserves, and 20 minutes to Shakespeare at Winedale.

Our other listing, the Boho cottage (#1005562) and No. 1450 are attached by a private hallway with locked doors on each side. Each cottage can be booked separately or together for a larger group or event. We also have two additional stand alone Cozy Cottages, the Pierce (#2263633) and the Eisley (#2263602) that are in the same property and can also be booked. It's the perfect weekend retreat for couples, honeymoons, retreats, workshops, girlfriend getaways, or family reunions. It's also the perfect background setting for retreats, commercial, bridal or brand photo and video shoots.

The house accommodates overnight stays for up to 7 guests max with the following arrangements:

Master bedroom (king bed) & attached master bath – downstairs

Loft bedroom (queen bed and 2 twins) with a half bath – upstairs

Great Room - Twin XL Daybed with shared full bath downstairs by the kitchen.

Please note:

Round Top shops and restaurants are generally open Wed - Sun. Surrounding towns (Brenham, LaGrange, Giddings) have more options during the week.

Due to the high-end amenities in our cottages as well as potential hazards to your little ones (sharp corners, glass antiques, gas fireplace, etc.), The Vintage Round Top is best for children ages 10 and up.

Our base rates listed are for double occupancy (first 2 guests). Additional guests are charged $50 per person / per night.

Nice, but we had some problems with our stay!
This property is nice, located very close to Round Top Center. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and chocolate… thank you! The house was clean and well stocked ; however, the king bed downstairs needs a new mattress. It caves in and needs to be replaced; it squeaks when you barely sit on it to get in bed ; not very comfortable because it’s old and worn out. My husband came home with lower back pain. We also had an incident our second night where the battery in one of the fire alarms went out and it started chirping loudly ..it woke us up and unfortunately, we got no sleep after that! Paige responded at first, and I was told to call her in the morning , but I never heard back from her after reaching out at all! Paige was responsive until she wasn’t! We’ll opt to stay at Hotel Lulu in the future to be guaranteed a consistently exceptional stay !

Home was very attractively decorated and conveniently located.
We came to Round Top to attend the Round Top Music Institute performance. Our nephew is one of the instructors and he also performed. We used this event to visit with other family members for a mini reunion. Next year we may reserve the whole complex at the Vintage so we can all stay together!

We loved staying at Vintage Roundtop The home has been restored & renovated with attention to detail, design & reuse of vintage items,furniture & finishes. The kitchen is well stocked to enable cooking if desired. We were warmly welcomed by Smoot the owner who shared all the great places to dine in Round Top. We really enjoyed the area & access to all the galleries, antique shops & history. Would recommend for couples, families, girls getaways & special occasions. They provide their VRT products in the bathrooms - very nice lineup. Hanging out on the large wrap around veranda in the sunshine was perfect evening.

Perfect stay at this amazing property in a tranquil setting
When you walk into No. 1450, you feel like you have just stepped into the pages of a magazine. This space is beautifully decorated with so many personal touches that give it such a welcoming personality. We made breakfast there one morning and enjoyed eating in the bright, airy dining room. My daughter and I had such a lovely, relaxing time here and we would highly recommend it for anyone staying in the Round Top area.
