The room was fine enough, the problem I’m having is that they charged my card through hotels.com AND a completely separate full charge as if we had two rooms or something, when I called they said it was a system glitch and that Cynthia would reverse the extraneous charge made to my card, but it’s been 2 weeks and still has not been credited back. The morning breakfast also kinda sucked.

One of the best experiences we've had!
We were very impressed with how immaculate and beautiful our room was! The products in the bathroom were high end and smelled amazing. The service was awesome, even when we called the front desk to notify them of a scorpion making it's way down the hallway towards our room. They come up immediately to sweep it up and dispose of it. The breakfast was awesome and varied every day of our stay. And it was convenient enough to drive to Carlsbad within an hour, which was the purpose of our stay to begin with. They even had an amazing well stocked gym, which we were able to make use of and a nice refreshing indoor pool. Our only complaint would be that they didn't have a hot tub which would have made the hotel a perfect 10 for us. And at one point in the evening I went to shower and it took the water ages to heat up, but it did eventually so that was a relief lol. Also the water pressure was a little on the low side. But other than that we were very impressed and would definitely stay here again if we head back this way!
