"I loved the property, but the staff were wonderful!. If you are looking for a super polished tourist neighborhood, this is not for you. The area is a real city and looks like a real city, not a tourist area. There is grafitti on buildings. That said, the local people are wonderful and helpful, the area felt safe and is absolutely walkable. The food is great and the staff will point you in the direction of great food, even making your reservations if need be. The breakfast meal is wonderful, and I looked forward to sitting in the cafe and planning my day. The room I had was wonderful with high ceilings, plenty of room and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this establishment, especially if you want to be close to the train or bus station. I will be staying here again, hopefully."

"Absolutely gorgeous property! 10/10 would stay again. It was perfectly located for everything I wanted to see in Sintra. The breakfast was also stellar! Fresh fruits and local cheeses and meats with fresh orange juice! Yum! The room was exquisite and I had the best view of the national palace of Sintra. Couldn’t as for a better place to stay for a weekend jaunt to Sintra! "

"The hotel is a great location, you are able to park and easily Uber or walk to wherever you need to go without the hassle of trying to find parking in town. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the breakfast was very good, and we were greeted by peacocks at the front door, to the delight of our daughter. "

"Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial. Only criticism is that tables and chairs were very small and cramped for eating."
