Do not stay. There is no air conditioning. The windows don't have screens. I couldn't sleep as there were bugs buzzing around me all night. This is not a 4 star hotel in the USA...not even a 3 star. If it were in the US it would be 2.5 stars max. The hotel caters to Chinese tourists who probably have different expectations.

Night staff seemed to not want to answer any phone calls to reception. Beds were comfortable but no aircon on a hot summer night. Facility seemed very dated. Awesome view from the bar balcony. Bathroom had a strange odour and should have had more towels for a deluxe room

The junior suite I had was tad dated, however, the lakeviews more than made up for it. The bed was comfy and the room was clean & tidy. Didn't quite get the opportunity to try out the in-house restaurants. Staff were courteous. The resort is within walkable distance to the town centre and to the Queenstown Gardens. Will definitely return next time.

We were upgraded to a suite with a fantastic view over the lake. Bed and shower were excellent. We used hotel parking which was convenient. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants with botanical garden access on the way.

It was great being on the ground floor with a grass area and a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Room was not ready when we arrived after 2pm and our room was not redressed until 5pm. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view of our room made up for it - would have been disappointed otherwise

Great outlook onto the Remarkables. However the daily cleaning and room maintenance was below par. No dusting, no fresh sheets by the house keeping staff. Hot water was poor with it continually going hot > cold.

The room we booked had fantastic views of the lake and mountains. Reception area was quite smart and impressive. The soft furnishings within the room had a fusty smell which was a let down. On day of departure we were repeatedly unable to enter our room after breakfast (before 0900) although we had made reception aware. Ben in the restaurant was very competent, helpful and friendly. Thanks for your hospitality.
