"Seagrape was excellent. It’s an older resort, but the pool and social areas were far better than most of the hotels and smaller resorts on the island. It is very walkable to downtown. The fixed free breakfast changed daily and it was tasty. I loved their tortilla or beans when they made the menu. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided daily. The water pressure is low in the showers but it wasn’t a big deal. The resort guests were very friendly as l we dived with most of them each day. It was fun to catch up over breakfast on everyone’s adventures. The in room air conditioning was great. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean. The landscaping was some of the best on the island when compared to other resorts. The dive center was excellent for lessons and when bad weather hit, they were able to take us to the other side of island where it was calmer to dive. Not all dive companies have this flexibility and partnership with other resorts on the island. The staff were super nice and easy to work with. We are looking forward to next year and making the trip longer too. "

"We had the best time. The room was large spacious and very comfortable. The shower was huge! Every morning and evening the Scarlett Macaws would fly around. The hotel is up on the hill with the beach club about a 1/4 mile below. They provide transportation to and from and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes or so. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The location was conveniently located between West Bay and West End. We walked to both. The walk to West end was a bit of an adventure but very doable. I have recommended Blue Roatan to my friends and family and I do the same for you. "

"We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location of the hotel is perfect. All of the rooms face half moon Beach and so have a beautiful view. Right next to the hotel is sundowners restaurant which can be a bit loud in the evening but usually quiets down by 10 PM and they have yoga every morning at 9 AM. Next to that is an excellent dive shop. It is also very near the water taxi stand. Behind the hotel is the main road, which is filled with small shops and restaurants. We were especially impressed that the hotel restaurant as well as many restaurants nearby offered vegetarian food. Our meals at the hotel were excellent and so were the gin cocktails. The hotel also has lounge chairs with cushions and provided us with beach towels and even a beach bag to use during our stay. Our room had a coffee machine and fridge and unlimited drinking water was provided. In addition, the hotel staff were extremely accommodating. They even offered to hold onto our luggage for us for several days while we travelled to the mainland, and they arranged to have our luggage delivered to us at the airport so we could catch our flight home.
