Small house in quiet neighborhood-Casas do Ouro

Between the Douro River and the Sea of Foz, Casa do Largo offers a unique experience for those who want to live the real life of the typical Porto.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, but served by restaurants with the most genuine food, Casa do Ouro is the ideal place to rest or enjoy the walks by the river to the sea, as the beach is 20 minutes walking. The famous “Miradouro of Santa Catarina” is located right at the top of the street, with a magnificent view of the city.

Near the house there are buses and a tram that take you directly to the city center in a beautiful ride along the river. You can also find taxicabs. If you prefer to have a meal in the other shore, Vila Nova Gaia, you just have to take a boat nearby.
The house hasn't a private parking but it's easy to park the car around.

Petite maison super bien placée.
La maison se trouve dans une petite ruelle typique entre Foz do douro et Porto, accessible en transports en commun . Elle est bien achalandée en vaisselles et électroménager.

Maison fonctionnelle proche de tout
Maison sympathique typique du quartier... Toute équipée, idéalement située à proximité de commerces, restaurants, des quais et des transports en communs. Nous avons partagé la vie des gens du quartier pendant 15 jours, ce qui a été très appréciable même avec une petite barrière de la langue ... les enfants ont pu apprendre quelques mots. Tout ça situé à 5 minutes en transport en communs ‹ tramway 1 ou bus 500› de la zone touristique ce qui a permis de bien profiter du pays. Je recommande cette maison pour des vacances en famille, 2 vrais chambres et espaces de vie assez grands pour les vacances, le plus la machine a laver et le lave-vaisselle... Avec les produits... Ce qui n'est pas le cas partout...

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung in ursprünglicher Umgebung
Wir haben uns in diesem kleinen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sehr ursprünglich mit einigen netten kleinen Kneipen. Eine schöne Aussicht auf den Douro hat man von der kleinen Kapelle oberhalb. Mit der kleinen Fähre erreicht man das andere Ufer des Douro tagsüber sehr unkompliziert. Dort liegt ein kleiner Ort mit Fischrestaurants und dem Naturschutzgebiet und Bademöglichkeiten. Die Anbindung ans Zentrum von Porto und in der anderen Richtung an die Atlantikstrände per Bus und Straßenbahn ist gut.

Petite maison prix abordables bien équipée, couchages confortables. Néanmoins excentrée du centre historique, nécessite de prendre taxi pour s'en rapprocher, par ailleurs assez sombre et environnement bruyant : musique, avions... la salle de bain nécessiterait un rafraîchissement et un nettoyage plus approfondi. Reste correct compte tenu du prix et si l on se contente d y dormir.

Superbement situee
Petite maison bien agencee idéalement située avec une petite courette exterieure. Conforme aux photos. Nous y avons passe un séjour formidable. La propriétaire nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux. Dommage qu il y ait eu quelques petits inconvénients comme des lattes du sommier casse. Une fenêtre qui ne se ferme pas .... Mais la propriétaire a promis d y remédier. Le gîte est idéalement situe au bord du fleuve avec terrasses et resto formidables typiquement portugais pour 6€ le repas. Le bus , à coté, passe très souvent et très tard le soir. C est donc très facile d aller rapidement dans le centre de Porto. .nous n' avons pas regretté notre choix.

Petite maison de pêcheur dans un quartier typique
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable (5 nuits) dans cette petite maison typique située à proximité immédiate du Douro et à environ 25mn de marche du centre historique de Porto (tramway ou bus possibles). Nous avons pu garer notre voiture sans difficulté. La maison est conforme aux photos. La literie est de bonne qualité. L'accueil par Johanna a été très chaleureux avec de nombreux conseils pour les commodités et pour les visites. Un seul bémol, il y a un peu de bruit avec le passage d'avions de ligne mais cela s'oublie vite d'autant que ça s'arrête la nuit

Très bon séjour
La maison est conforme à la description. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Joana est très agréable et disponible pour tout renseignement. Service de ménage et changement de linge de lit, toilette et cuisine au milieu du séjour de 10 nuits. Supermarché à proximité. Maison bien située, tout près de la ligne du bus 500, pratique pour aller en centre ville et vers l'océan, même si les horaires de bus ne sont pas vraiment respectés ! Quartier sympa, pas touristique. Une adresse à conserver !
