Welcome to Reel Lazy Lakehouse! It's hard to imagine jamming more fun into this place! My husband and I fell in love with this house as soon as we saw it - well, as soon as I saw it, then there was some convincing needed as my husband only saw dollar signs.

We have very recently completed renovations - roofed in the deck off the living room, added a 6 person hot tub below it, new quartz countertops, shoreline reconstruction and pier repairs and we are now ready to share Reel Lazy Lakehouse with the world! We know you will love it as much as we do!

Reel Lazy Lakehouse is a short hour from Dallas - and only 40 minutes to Canton for First Monday Trade Days - the world's largest flea market for antique and bargain hunters! Anglers will appreciate the lake known for being the Catfish Capital of Texas, home of enormous blue and channel cats. We also have many varieties of bass, and you can fish for them right from our 140 feet of shoreline, 100 foot pier or covered boathouse! We recently added solar lights all the way down the pier & boathouse, and we're on open water, not a channel or small inlet, so you'll enjoy access to water even if the waters recede in dry times. We left you some fishing poles in the garage! Cook up your catch of the day on the new propane grill - propane supplied free of charge. If you run out mid-stay and need to take it to be refilled, shoot us a copy of the receipt and we will reimburse you! The gas station on the main road 5 minutes away will refill bottles.

While you're in the garage, get in a few games of ping pong, watch the big game or try your hand at darts, cornhole or foosball! Outside, enjoy your lake views in the new hot tub, relax on the new outdoor couch under the covered upper deck or swing in the hammock under a pecan tree while you watch the kids battle it out at volleyball or basketball. Share spooky stories around the firepit at night - plenty of firewood is stocked at no extra charge! You'll have a hard time picking what to do next!

There are steps to navigate at our front door and a few at the back door. 1 step needed to enter first floor of garage apartment. There are many carpeted stairs up to the second floor garage bedroom. The stairs is the only bit of carpet on our property.

Travel up the front deck stairs, input your code in our digital door locks, and walk into our open space concept living area complete with 2 couches, an oversized recliner, two club chairs, your own dedicated desk and pool table. Additional ottomans available for extra seating. The spacious dining area includes 6 chairs and a long bench. There is also bar seating next to the table (4 stools).

The main house's large primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower tub and sink - it also features a small couch that flattens into a futon and is suitable for children only. Secondary bedrooms in main house are directly next to updated bathrooms with showers.

The garage apartment opens to a foosball table, bar table with stools, a kitchenette with sink, coffee maker, microwave and fridge, and around the corner is the main bedroom with 1 queen bed with ensuite bathroom with sink and shower. Up a flight of stairs is a second bedroom with a full bed, nook and couch with TV - in fact, ALL bedrooms at Reel Lazy Lakehouse have their own personal tv's, and find more tv's in the garage and living room. Note: The upstairs and downstairs bedrooms in the apartment do not have doors to separate them from the living space, but the entire apartment has its own locking door with digital keypad which can be coded separately from the main house - just ask!

The whole house and garage get fast WIFI speeds thanks to wired fiber internet, not satellite!

Reel Lazy Lakehouse does not charge extra fees to accommodate 9 in a group, we do not charge for firewood or propane, and our $50 pet fee is only once per stay. We never nickel and dime you to enjoy our advertised amenities!

***Note - Since our very recent repairs to shoreline wall and pier required heavy equipment, we are still in the progress of restoring the grass down at the shore end - we have laid stone pavers to help alleviate muddy shoes getting from grass to pier. Thanks for your patience!
