The front desk staff were not helpful. Asking for help with luggage for my 80 year old mother in law... Nope they don't help. Aside from breakfast the food is the worst I have ever had. They served pasta with chopped up deli meats, there was a few spiders in the carafe of rice and the food was cold. Selection is extremely limited, and the menu did not vary. We only ate 1 lunch and no dinners at the hotel - we paid and ate elsewhere. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only issue for 3 nights in a row is the neighbours dog barked and would not stop. It woke me up after 11pm and the barking started again the next morning at 7am. Repeated messages to the front desk and nothing changed and no room changes were offered. Months ago reviews noted no room wifi. They said it was fixed. Please know this is untrue and there is still only wifi in the hotel lobby.

Randall helped us so much from when we got there until we departed with excursions transportation everyone was so friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend to go take a tour also with Samuel driver and tour guide with Daniel with Costa Rica unique tours. Oh and the views and drinks are amazing!! Pura Vida

Wish we had known more specifics about amenities. Did not find out about second eating spot until last night. Need internet in rooms. Staff was very friendly. Tours need to be explained better. Overall, Ana(maid), Gustavo, Ernesto, and norman( tour guides) and all wait staff excellent.

Resort needs update, mattress on our king size was hard & old, pillows old & worn out . Food was good first night but need variety they served same every day. White rice, black beans, chicken. Never served fish, meat or pork chops no Italian or Chinese’s food.

The room was really nice, but the food was awful. If you stay here, I definitely recommend not getting the all inclusive option. The room has a fridge and kitchen, you can get your own food and bring it to the resort. The check-in process was slow and painful. It took over an hour to check in even though there was only one person in front of us. The airport transport is misleading. It's only free to get to the resort. You have to arrange your own transportation to go to the airport. It cost us over $60. The check-in attendant chuckled under his breath when I was confused, like this happens all the time with other guests. I would avoid and go somewhere else. Not worth the price.

It felt like they were actively trying to ruin our stay. Requests for basic necessities like towels were ignored, and when addressed, we were met with eye-rolls and attitude.” 3. Food Quality: • 1/5 “Absolutely abysmal. The food was cold, bland, and poorly cooked. On one occasion, it seemed like leftovers from another table were reused. We enjoyed the closeness with the ocean, staff was friendly for the most part with 1-2 exceptions. Our room did not have hot water and we asked the front desk 3 times to send someone from maintenance but no one came. There wasn’t even a small kleenex box in the bathroom and the room doesn’t have a mini fridge. Despite having 2 restaurants the food felt limited and repetitive .

Worst hotel ever.We had no hot water, no WiFi connection, while I was showering a scorpion surprised me and was curling on me. Stay away from this hotel. We changed hotels and didn't stay for full length.

Amazing Sunsets

Location had amazing views, short discance to the beach, the sunset were gorgeous. The only down was the wifi, wifi didn’t work in the rooms only on at the pool area.
