"One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in when on the road so much, but this was refreshing and welcome change. Just a shame I my stay was so short..."

"We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Granery. Location was great for us. It is a shame that there is only one shower that you have to wait a while between usage, not ideal with eight adults especially on the departure day when you had to be out by nine. But apart from that we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
