Nice stay but room needed maintenance in areas.
If there were half stars I’d have given it a 3.5 but went for 3 as it didn't deserve a 4. Fist off, the staff was great, really friendly and helpful both at the pool and front desk. The check in and out lines were always long and at the times i was in it there was only one person at the desk. The furnishings in our room were night and colourful and the bed so comfortable. The sofa with its bed below was a bit hard but not bad. The room was clean and smelt clean. The issues we had was the worn out and dingy state of the kitchen and the patio. It seems that the rooms are mainly owned by others and not the hotel but the hotel does manage them and it bears the hotels brand so it would really be in their best interest to mandate that the owners keep the maintenance up on their units. The kitchen cabinets were awful looking with the wood stain peeling off in many areas, the dishwasher wasn’t installed properly so had an unsightly gap showing. It was really a turnoff and made us wonder if the room was even clean-it was . The patio hadn’t been swept and there were cigarette buts on the ground as well as the neighbouring patios. The pool had way too much chlorine in it and no shower to rinse off with if you wanted to then sit by the pool.

The size of room was good for 2 adults and 2 teens. The mattresses on the pullouts were terrible. That would make me look elsewhere another time.

We had a 2 Bdrm, 2Bth unit. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. However, the furniture is a bit worn out. There is a nice warm pool but it was smaller than I expected. There weren’t a lot of lounge chairs. We did enjoy the pool. The jets in the hot tub were not working and it was overly chlorinated. We were delayed for over an hour on check in which was only an issue because we had 3 small children who had already spent 3 hours travelling. The hotel management did reach out to me to try to rectify the situation. We also went to the private beach on Georgian Bay. It was a nice beach with shallow water. Great for kids. There were two issues. Water craft was free but the young people booking need more training. After being told twice to come back in 30 mins to book a kayak (no wait lists???) we were told there was nothing available for another 2 hrs. Why could others book for a later time. Why didn’t they tell us the first time we tried that there was nothing available for 2 hours? Very frustrating. Plus, hot dogs are $9. The hotel was in close proximity to The Village so very convenient. For a family with small kids, this was good. However, for a more mature couple, something a little more upscale would probably suit better.

Always A Fantastic Stay!
Our stay was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were there for our daughters sixth birthday and they left a nice little present of candy in our room and upgraded us from a two bedroom suite the presidential suite all around we had a great time and will do it again.

Loved it!
Very nice hotel, our room was spacious! I loved the room, loved the accommodations and the village is really cute though a bit smaller than I anticipated. The activities are costly on site but all and all, great time and fun for everyone! :)

Very hard to actually find the Correct way into the parking area to book into the hotel. The dirt road off Jozo Weider is unmarked and looks like a construction zone. Google maps takes you to the conference centre parking that you need to walk up a steep hill, if you can get parking as it’s for players access parking only. If you come from the free parking lot there are tons of confusing signs that show no entrance. We called the hotel for specific directions and got the contact centre who was of no help. We ended up going up the gravel/ dirt unmarked road, to find that was the entrance. We parked and went in to check in and the line up was almost out the door. There were at least 3 check in computers but only 1 being used. Luckily a second person came in and the line went slow but steady. We arrived in room which was the mosaic deluxe room. The bed was a queen but felt like a double and looked like a double too. Bed was comfy bit couch and chairs were not. Very stiff. Bathroom was extremely dated and not what the pictures portrayed. Hotel room was very dark even though we had a patio door (that didn’t lock). While the hotel overall was clean, there was an odour in the main lobby and elevators. Pool was too warm that it felt like a hot tub or bath. The pool tiles above water had black scum that you could scrape off with fingernail. Underground paid parking is very tight and did not have specific 1 way directions so it was tight if another car was coming opposite way.
